Important Precautions

Installation

• Install the TV near an easily accessible AC power outlet.
• Place the TV on a smooth, flat surface to prevent falls and damage.
• For wall mounting, use an authorized TV wall mount. Ensure correct screw size and length to avoid TV damage or falling.

Moving

• Disconnect all cables before moving the TV.
• Requires two or more people for safe moving. Avoid applying pressure to the LED panel, shaking, or excessive vibrations.
• Use original packaging when moving to a new location or for repairs.

Ventilation

• Do not cover ventilation holes or insert objects into the case.
• Maintain adequate space around the TV for ventilation.

Wall Mounting Specifics

• Ensure proper ventilation and prevent dust buildup.
• Do not mount the TV flat, upside-down, backwards, or sideways.
• Avoid placing the TV on shelves, carpets, beds, or in closets.
• Do not cover the TV with fabric or other materials.

AC Power Cord Safety

• Insert the plug fully into the AC outlet.
• Use with a 200-240V AC power supply.
• Unplug the AC power cord when connecting other cables for safety. Be mindful of cable placement to avoid tripping.
• Disconnect the AC power cord before performing any work or moving the TV.
• Keep the AC power cord away from heat sources.
• Regularly unplug and clean the AC power plug. Dust and moisture can degrade insulation and pose a fire risk.
• Avoid excessive pinching, bending, modifying, or twisting of the AC power cord to prevent wire exposure or breakage.
• Do not place heavy objects on the AC power cord.
• Do not pull the AC power cord when disconnecting power.
• Avoid connecting too many devices to the same AC power outlet.
• Do not use unsuitable AC power outlets.

Children's Safety

• Do not allow children to climb on the TV.
• Keep small objects out of children's reach to prevent accidental ingestion.

Optional Items

• Keep optional accessories or devices emitting electromagnetic radiation away from the TV to prevent image distortion or noise.

Troubleshooting

If the AC power cord is damaged, the AC power outlet is unsuitable, the TV is damaged due to impact, or any liquid/solid object enters the case through an outlet, turn off the TV, unplug the AC power cord immediately, and contact a Xiaomi repair center for service.

Usage Restrictions

Do not install or use the TV in the following locations, environments, or conditions to prevent malfunction, fire, electric shock, damage, or personal injury:

• Places: Outdoors (direct sunlight), by the sea, on vessels, in cars, medical institutions, unstable locations, near water, or in places exposed to rain, moisture, or mildew. Avoid placing in areas with high sulfide content (e.g., public bath dressing rooms).
• Environment: Hot, damp, dusty places; areas prone to insects; locations exposed to mechanical shock; near flammable objects (candles). Avoid exposure to dripping or splashing water. Do not place liquid-containing items (e.g., vases) on the TV. Avoid damp or dusty rooms, or areas with steam or fumes (near stoves or humidifiers). Do not boil water, heat food, or use mosquito coils near the TV.
• Conditions: Do not use with wet hands, with the case open, or with unauthorized accessories. In case of lightning storms, disconnect the TV from the AC power cord and outlet. Do not install in open-air locations.

Damage to Mi TV Screen

• Do not throw objects at the TV, as impact can break the screen and cause serious injury.
• If the screen surface is damaged, do not touch the TV before unplugging the AC power cord to avoid electric shock.

General Precautions

• Watch TV in appropriate lighting conditions. Prolonged viewing in low light can damage eyesight.
• The screen and case may become hot during operation; this is normal.
• The TV does not support decoding of DTS-CD bitstream from HDMI IN.

Screen/Case Cleaning

• Ensure the AC power cord is disconnected before cleaning.
• Wipe the screen/case with a soft cloth to remove dust. For stubborn dust, use a soft cloth moistened with a mild detergent.
• Do not spray water or detergent directly onto the TV.
• Avoid using scrub pads, alkaline/acid cleaners, scouring powder, or volatile liquids (alcohol, thinners, insecticides). These can damage the screen surface and casing materials.
• Regularly clean vents for proper ventilation.
• Adjust the TV angle slowly to prevent slipping.
