Introduction

This document provides essential information for the installation, safe operation, and maintenance of your Xiaomi Google TV models L65MA-SEU and L75MA-SEU. Please read all instructions carefully before use.

Installation Guide

Step 1: Unboxing and Contents Check

Open the box carefully. Verify that all included items are present: the TV, remote control, stand components, screws (specifically 65" ST5x4), and any accessory bags.

Step 2: Handling the TV Screen

With the help of another person, carefully hold the TV screen. Avoid applying excessive pressure to the display panel.

Step 3: Preparing the Setup Surface

Place the TV screen face down on a soft, clean surface, such as a table covered with a protective cloth, to prevent scratches.

Step 4: Ready for Assembly

The TV is now positioned on the prepared surface, ready for the next steps of assembly or wall mounting.

Important Precautions

Installation

• The TV should be installed near an AC power outlet that can be easily plugged and unplugged.
• If you intend to install a TV wall mount, it is recommended to use an authorized TV wall mount.
• The diameter and length of the screws will vary depending on the wall mount model. Failure to use the correct screws may cause the TV to fall or lead to internal damage.

Moving

• Disconnect all cables before moving the TV.
• Large TVs require 2 or more people to move safely. Avoid applying pressure to the LED panel when moving the TV. Avoid shaking the TV or exposing it to excessive vibrations.
• When moving the TV to a new location or for repairs, package the TV using the original box and packaging materials.

Ventilation

• Do not cover the ventilation holes or insert any objects into the case.
• Keep a space for ventilation around the TV.

Wall Mounting

To ensure proper ventilation and prevent dust buildup:

• Do not mount the TV flat, upside-down, backwards, or side mount it.
• Do not place the TV on a shelf, carpet, bed, or closet.
• Do not cover the TV with fabric (such as curtains) or other materials (such as newspapers).
• When mounting on a wall or wall mount, note the tilt angle: 85" and below: angle should not be greater than 15°; Above 85": angle should not be greater than 5°.
• The screw diameter and length may vary. Using non-specialized screws may result in the TV falling and internal damage.

Bolts for securing the TV and wall mount must meet these requirements:

AC Power Cord Safety

• Insert the plug completely into the AC outlet.
• Use the TV with a 200-240V AC power supply.
• Unplug the AC power cord for safety when connecting cables. Be careful not to trip over cables.
• Disconnect the AC power cord before carrying out work or moving the TV.
• Keep the AC power cord away from heat.
• Unplug and clean the AC power plug regularly. Dust and moisture can deteriorate insulation, posing a fire risk.
• Avoid excessive pinching, bending, modifying, or twisting of the AC power cord, as this can expose or break wires.
• Do not place heavy objects on the AC power cord.
• Do not pull the AC power cord when disconnecting power.
• Do not connect too many devices to the same AC power outlet.
• Do not use unsuitable AC power outlets.

Child Safety

• Place small objects out of the reach of children to avoid swallowing.

Optional Items

• Keep optional accessories or devices emitting electromagnetic radiation away from the TV to avoid image distortion or noise.

In Case of Problems

If the AC power cord is damaged, the AC power outlet is unsuitable, the TV is damaged due to a drop or impact, or any liquid/solid object falls into the case: Turn off the TV, unplug the AC power cord immediately, and contact a Xiaomi repair center.

Stability Hazard

A falling television can cause serious injury or death. Never place a television set in an unstable location. Take precautions:

• ALWAYS use cabinets or stands or mounting methods recommended by the manufacturer.
• ALWAYS use furniture that can safely support the television set.
• ALWAYS ensure the TV is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
• ALWAYS educate children about the dangers of climbing on furniture.
• ALWAYS route cords and cables so they cannot be tripped over.
• NEVER place the TV on tall furniture without anchoring both the furniture and TV.
• NEVER place the TV on cloth or other materials between the TV and furniture.
• NEVER place items that tempt children to climb (toys, remotes) on top of the TV or furniture.

Usage Restrictions

Do not install/use the TV in the following places, environments, or conditions to avoid malfunction, fire, electric shock, damage, or personal injury:

• Places: Outdoors (in direct sunlight), by the sea, on a ship, inside a car, in a medical institution, at an unstable location, next to water, or exposed to rain, moisture, or mildew. Avoid placement in areas with sulfide in the air (e.g., public bath dressing rooms).
• Environment: Hot, damp, or dusty places; places where insects may enter; places exposed to mechanical shock; next to flammable objects (e.g., candles). Avoid dripping or splashing water. Do not place liquid-containing items on the TV. Avoid steam or fumes (near stoves/humidifiers). Do not boil water, heat food, or use mosquito coils near the TV.
• Conditions: Do not use with wet hands, with the case open, or with unauthorized accessories. Disconnect during lightning storms. Do not install in open-air locations.

Damage to TV Screen

Do not throw objects at the TV, as this can break the screen and cause injury. If the screen is damaged, do not touch it before unplugging the AC power cord to avoid electric shock.

Operating Conditions & Precautions

• Operating temperature: 0°C-40°C
• Storage temperature: -15°C-45°C
• Relative humidity: <80%
• Watch TV in appropriate lighting conditions to protect eyesight.
• The screen and case will get hot during operation; this is normal.
• The TV does not support decoding of DTS-CD bitstream coming from HDMI IN.

Using and Cleaning the Screen/Case

Ensure the AC power cord is disconnected before cleaning.

• Wipe the surface with a soft cloth to remove dust. If dust persists, use a soft cloth moistened with a mild detergent.
• Do not spray water or detergent directly onto the TV.
• Do not use scrub pads, alkaline/acid cleaners, scouring powder, or volatile liquids (alcohol, thinners, insecticides). These can damage the screen surface and casing materials.
• Regularly clean the vents to ensure proper ventilation.
• When adjusting the TV angle, move it slowly to prevent slipping.

Recycling: To facilitate effective utilization of resources, please return this product to a nearby authorized Collection Centre, registered Dismantler, or Recycler when disposing of it.

What the Wheelie Bin symbol (♺) means: This symbol indicates that e-waste should not be disposed of in regular municipal waste bins, as it is hazardous and requires special recycling.

How to dispose of this product: Carry it to the nearest service center of a Xiaomi authorized agency.

Handling Instructions (Do's and Don'ts):

• Do's: Always check product catalog for end-of-life handling. Ensure only Authorized Recyclers handle your electronics. Call Authorized E-waste Recyclers for disposal. Drop used products, batteries, or accessories at your nearest Authorized E-Waste Collection Center/Point. Separate packaging material for responsible disposal and recycling.
• Don'ts: Do not dismantle products yourself. Do not throw electronics in bins marked "Do not Dispose". Do not give e-waste to informal sectors like local scrap dealers.
