Important Precautions

This section outlines crucial safety measures and guidelines for the installation, handling, and usage of your Xiaomi TV. Please read carefully to ensure safe operation and prevent damage.

Installation

• Install the TV near an easily accessible AC power outlet.
• If using a wall mount, use an authorized mount. Ensure correct screw diameter and length for your wall type to prevent TV damage or falls.

Moving the TV

• Disconnect all cables before moving.
• Requires 2 or more people for safe transport. Avoid pressure on the LED panel and do not shake or expose to excessive vibrations.
• Use original packaging for moving or repairs.

Ventilation

• Do not cover ventilation holes or insert objects into the case.
• Maintain adequate space around the TV for ventilation.

Wall Mounting

• Ensure proper ventilation and prevent dust buildup.
• Do not mount the TV flat, upside-down, backward, or sideways.
• Avoid placing the TV on shelves, carpets, beds, or in closets.
• Do not cover the TV with fabric or other materials.
• Observe tilt angle limits: 15° for TVs 85" and below, 5° for TVs above 85".
• Use correct screws (e.g., L65MA-SEU: M6, 25mm/18mm; L75MA-SEU: M8, 30mm) as specified for your model.

AC Power Cord

• Use the provided AC power cord and socket.
• Ensure the plug is fully inserted into the AC outlet.
• Use a 200-240V AC power supply.
• Disconnect the AC power cord before connecting/disconnecting cables or moving the TV.
• Keep the cord away from heat sources.
• Regularly clean the plug to prevent fire hazards from dust and moisture.
• Avoid pinching, bending, modifying, or twisting the cord.
• Do not place heavy objects on the cord.
• Do not pull the cord when disconnecting power.
• Do not overload the outlet.
• Use only suitable AC outlets.

Children

• Keep small objects out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.

Optional Items

• Keep optional accessories and devices emitting electromagnetic radiation away from the TV to avoid image distortion or noise.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues such as a damaged power cord, unsuitable outlet, TV damage from impact, or foreign objects entering the case, turn off the TV, unplug it immediately, and contact Xiaomi service.

Stability Hazard

To prevent serious injury or death from the TV falling:

• Always use manufacturer-recommended cabinets, stands, or mounting methods.
• Use furniture that can safely support the TV.
• Ensure the TV does not overhang the furniture's edge.
• Educate children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the TV.
• Route cables to prevent tripping hazards.
• Never place the TV on unstable surfaces or tall furniture without anchoring.
• Avoid placing the TV on fabric or other materials that could interfere with stability.
• Keep tempting items like toys and remotes away from the TV and furniture.

Usage Restrictions

Do not install or use the TV in the following conditions to prevent malfunction, fire, electric shock, damage, or injury:

• Locations: Outdoors, direct sunlight, near the sea, on ships, in cars, medical institutions, unstable locations, near water, or exposed to rain, moisture, or mold.
• Environments: Hot, humid, dusty places, areas prone to insects, places exposed to mechanical shock, near flammable objects (e.g., candles). Avoid water exposure and placing liquid-containing items on the TV. Do not use in damp or dusty areas, or rooms with steam/fumes.
• Conditions: Do not use with wet hands, open casing, or unapproved accessories. Disconnect during thunderstorms. Do not install outdoors.

TV Screen Damage

Do not throw objects at the TV. If the screen is damaged, do not touch the TV before unplugging the power cord to avoid electric shock.

Precautions

• Watch TV in appropriate lighting conditions to protect eyesight.
• The screen and casing may become hot during operation; this is normal.
• DTS-CD bitstream from HDMI IN is not supported.

Using and Cleaning the TV Screen/Casing

• Disconnect the AC power cord before cleaning.
• Wipe with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For stubborn dust, use a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent.
• Do not spray water or detergent directly onto the TV.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals.
• Clean ventilation openings regularly.
• Adjust the TV angle slowly to prevent movement or slipping.
