MIC360® WITH XD MICROPHONE

QUICK START GUIDE

Microphone Overview

The XD Microphone features several controls and indicators:

The XD Microphone also includes an insert clip and a foam ball with a foam cap for protection and sound diffusion.

XD Microphone Linking

To link the XD Microphone to the amplifier:

  1. Ensure the microphone is off. Press the Link button on the amplifier (front of BEAM, side of BEAM, or rear of XD Solo). Look for a blinking Yellow LED.
  2. On the XD Teacher Microphone, press and hold the REC button, then promptly press and hold the PWR button until the microphone is linked.
  3. Successful linking is indicated by a beep through the system and an additional Green LED on the front of the amplifier and the Teacher Microphone.

Installing the XD Microphone into the MIC360®

  1. Separate the foam cap from the blue ball by inserting fingers between them and rotating the cap counter-clockwise.
  2. Lift the foam cap to access the internal microphone holder.
  3. Press and hold the PWR button on the XD Microphone for 3 seconds until the BATT LED flashes and turns solid green.
  4. Pinch the sides of the internal XD microphone clip and pull outwards to remove it.
  5. Insert the XD microphone into the clip. Connect the included micro-USB cable for charging and a 3.5 mm audio cable for audio passthrough.
  6. Re-insert the clip with the XD Microphone into the MIC360® until it clicks into place.
  7. Replace the foam cap by aligning it with the hole at the top of the ball and twisting clockwise.

Charging Your MIC360®

The MIC360® allows charging of the internal XD Microphone without removing it:

  1. At the end of each day, remove the foam cap and connect a micro-USB cable to the plug inside the MIC360® to charge the microphone.
  2. The green charge indicator confirms the charging status.

XD Microphone Volume Control

  1. Press the SELECT button to choose the desired audio source (OWN, OTHER, or LINE). An LED will indicate the selected source. OWN controls the current microphone's volume, while OTHER controls a second linked microphone. LINE is not used in this system.
  2. Use the Up arrow to increase the volume and the Down arrow to decrease the volume for the selected source.
