The CA-70 Sentinel Amplifier is a versatile audio solution designed for various applications. This guide provides essential information for setting up and using the amplifier and its associated microphones.

Amplifier Front Panel Overview: The front panel features accessory ports (Accessory Input 3, Input 2, Input 1), tone controls (Low, Mid, High), line outputs (Line Out, Level Out), speaker connections, and a 24V DC power input. It also includes an RJ45 input for the WPA-03 accessory.
Microphone Front and Back Views: The front of the microphone displays level controls for line inputs. The back of the microphone features a Link Button, Media Channel indicator, Microphone 2 Active indicator, System Power ON indicator, and Microphone 1 Active indicator.

XD Teacher Microphone Linking

Follow these steps to link an XD Teacher Microphone:

  1. With the microphone off, press the Link button on the front or side of the amplifier or Beam. Look for a blinking yellow LED.
  2. With the microphone off, press and hold the REC and PWR buttons on the front of the XD Teacher Microphone simultaneously.
  3. A successful link will produce a beep through the system, and an additional green LED will illuminate on the front of the amplifier.

XD Student Microphone Linking

Follow these steps to link an XD Student Microphone:

  1. Press and hold the PWR LINK button on the back of the XD Student Microphone.
  2. While holding the button, slide the TALK button up to the 'on' position.

Linking the Media Channel

  1. Ensure MIC 1 and MIC 2 channels are active before linking to the Media channel.
  2. Verify that the microphone (teacher or student) to be linked is turned off.
  3. Confirm that both Channel 1 and Channel 2 microphones are on and connected to the amplifier.
  4. Follow the XD Teacher or XD Student Microphone Linking instructions.
  5. Within 2 to 10 seconds, a beep should be heard, and the amplifier's LINK LED will turn solid yellow.

Charging Your XD Microphone

  1. Charge the microphone at the end of each day.
  2. Connect the micro-USB plug of the charger to the DC input terminal of the microphone. The charge indicator (red) shows the charging status.
  3. When the charge indicator stops blinking, the microphone is fully charged. A rapidly blinking charge indicator signifies that the micro-USB is not fully inserted.

XD Teacher Microphone Volume Control

  1. Press the SELECT button to choose the desired source for volume control. An LED will illuminate to indicate the selected source. 'OWN' controls the volume of the currently used microphone. 'OTHER' controls the second linked microphone. 'LINE' is not used with this system.
  2. Press the up arrow [▲] to increase the volume level of the selected source, or the down arrow [▼] to decrease it.
