XD Teacher Microphone Linking
Follow these steps to link an XD Teacher Microphone:
- With the microphone off, press the Link button on the front or side of the amplifier or Beam. Look for a blinking yellow LED.
- With the microphone off, press and hold the REC and PWR buttons on the front of the XD Teacher Microphone simultaneously.
- A successful link will produce a beep through the system, and an additional green LED will illuminate on the front of the amplifier.
XD Student Microphone Linking
Follow these steps to link an XD Student Microphone:
- Press and hold the PWR LINK button on the back of the XD Student Microphone.
- While holding the button, slide the TALK button up to the 'on' position.
Linking the Media Channel
- Ensure MIC 1 and MIC 2 channels are active before linking to the Media channel.
- Verify that the microphone (teacher or student) to be linked is turned off.
- Confirm that both Channel 1 and Channel 2 microphones are on and connected to the amplifier.
- Follow the XD Teacher or XD Student Microphone Linking instructions.
- Within 2 to 10 seconds, a beep should be heard, and the amplifier's LINK LED will turn solid yellow.
Charging Your XD Microphone
- Charge the microphone at the end of each day.
- Connect the micro-USB plug of the charger to the DC input terminal of the microphone. The charge indicator (red) shows the charging status.
- When the charge indicator stops blinking, the microphone is fully charged. A rapidly blinking charge indicator signifies that the micro-USB is not fully inserted.
XD Teacher Microphone Volume Control
- Press the SELECT button to choose the desired source for volume control. An LED will illuminate to indicate the selected source. 'OWN' controls the volume of the currently used microphone. 'OTHER' controls the second linked microphone. 'LINE' is not used with this system.
- Press the up arrow [▲] to increase the volume level of the selected source, or the down arrow [▼] to decrease it.
