Device Overview
The MIC360 2.0 is a wireless microphone system designed for clear audio capture. The device features a spherical design with controls accessible after removing the protective windscreen.
Top View With Windscreen: This view shows the central speaker/microphone grille.
Top View Without Windscreen: This view reveals the device's control interface and ports.
- Power On/Off: Button to turn the device on or off.
- Volume Down: Button to decrease the microphone volume.
- USB-C Charging Port: Port for connecting the charging cable.
- XD Link: Button used to initiate the pairing process with the XD Receiver.
- Volume Up: Button to increase the microphone volume.
- Microphone: Integrated microphone element for capturing sound.
- LED Indicator Ring: A ring of LEDs that displays the device's operational status.
LED Indicator Ring Status
The LED Indicator Ring provides visual feedback on the MIC360 2.0's status:
- Slow Yellow Blinking Light: Indicates the MIC360 2.0 is attempting to connect to its previously linked receiver.
- Fast Blinking Yellow Light: Indicates the MIC360 2.0 is in linking mode, ready to be paired.
- Purple Light: Signifies that the MIC360 2.0 is successfully linked to the XD Receiver. The microphone is muted. Muting occurs automatically when the MIC360 2.0 is in motion or when it is resting on its windscreen.
- Green Light: Indicates the MIC360 2.0 is successfully linked to the XD Receiver, and the microphone is active and ready for use.
Charging the Device
To charge the MIC360 2.0, connect a USB-C cable to the designated charging port.
During the charging process, the red LEDs on the device will blink sequentially. Once all four LEDs are solidly illuminated, the device is fully charged.
Linking the MIC360 2.0
Follow these steps to successfully link the MIC360 2.0 to the classroom amplifier:
- Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2 seconds to turn on the MIC360 2.0. The LED Ring will initially blink yellow slowly.
- Press and hold the LINK button for approximately 1 second to initiate the linking process. The LED Ring will then blink yellow in sequence.
- Press the LINK button on the classroom amplifier.
Successful linking is confirmed by an audible beep. The green LEDs on the classroom amplifier will illuminate, and the LED Ring on the MIC360 2.0 will turn solid green, indicating a successful connection.
