Getting Started

Search Modes

Choose the best mode for your detecting environment:

All Terrain

Excellent for recreational areas, fields, and historical locations with lots of trash, and also for more general detecting.

Beach

Perfect for all saltwater conditions: dry sand, wet sand, surf, and underwater.

Gold

Ideal for gold nugget prospecting in mineralized goldfield locations.

General

Can't decide which Mode to use? Use the General Mode for detecting in various terrains.

Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Manticore detector:

1. Connect the shaft sections (refer to numbered diagrams).
2. Secure the coil to the lower shaft.

Secure the Clamp Lock

Adjust the clamp locks if the telescopic extension slides or becomes loose:

• Release: [release]
• Tighten gently in increments: [tighten]

• Check and repeat if necessary.

Charging

Charging Time: 7-8 Hours (full charge), 3 Hours (partial charge)

Connect the detector using the provided USB cable (USB-A to USB-C). Use a good quality USB charger (minimum 2A @ 5V).

⚠️ CAUTION: Charge only at ambient temperatures between 0°C and +40°C.

Look for quality marks on USB chargers: CE, EAC, Intertek.
