TAKSTAR DA-239 Window Intercom
You Can Hear It
Product Introduction
The Takstar DA-239 is a window intercom system designed for clear communication in environments with glass partitions, such as banks, securities offices, post offices, train stations, ticket counters, and hospitals. It features clear and loud audio, high voice clarity, and adjustable volume for both internal and external speakers. The system incorporates anti-interference and echo/howling cancellation circuits to ensure accurate sound reproduction.
The system consists of a main unit (主机) placed on the counter and a sub-unit (副机) for the customer side, typically mounted on the glass.
Product Features
- Full-duplex voice communication technology with automatic signal recognition, requiring no manual operation during calls.
- Dedicated anti-side-tone processing chip provides automatic muting and effectively improves howling suppression.
- Utilizes advanced electroacoustic technology and high-performance components, delivering up to 5W output power for clear and loud sound with high voice clarity.
- Dual gooseneck microphones on the main unit allow for flexible adjustment of the pickup angle.
- Independent internal and external mute switches on the main unit for user control.
- Audio input function allows for external audio sources, such as computer voice prompts, to be broadcast to customers.
- Stereo output provides dual-channel audio signals, supporting simultaneous recording of both internal and external audio.

Installation and Operation
Installation:
- Place the main unit on the counter for staff use.
- Attach the sub-unit to the outer side of the glass partition using the provided adhesive strips or screws. Connect the sub-unit cable to the main unit's external speaker port.
- Connect the power adapter to a 220V power outlet and plug the DC=12V connector into the main unit's power input port.
Operation:
- Ensure all plugs and sockets are securely connected. Turn on the main unit using the power switch [power-switch]. The power indicator light ? will illuminate.
- Activate the internal and external speaker switches. The indicator lights for these switches will also turn on.
- Gradually adjust the volume knobs [volume-knob] for both the main unit and sub-unit to achieve a comfortable listening level.
- Test the system by speaking into the main unit's microphone; the sound should be amplified by the sub-unit. Then, speak into the sub-unit; the sound should be amplified by the main unit's internal speaker. This indicates normal operation.
- The sub-unit can be mounted on a wall or glass using strong adhesive strips. Ensure the mounting surface (wall or glass) is clean and free of dust before applying the adhesive. The sub-unit's connection cable should be oriented downwards and secured within the rubber strip [adhesive-strip]. Alternatively, the sub-unit can be mounted using screws if preferred.
- The power cord clip [power-cord-clip] can be used to secure the power cord, preventing accidental disconnection.
Simple Troubleshooting
- Issue: No Sound (无声)
- Check if the power adapter is properly connected to the power outlet and the main unit.
- Ensure the volume knob [volume-knob] is turned up.
- Verify that the speaker switch [speaker-switch] is in the ON position.
- Issue: Howling (啸叫)
- The sound insulation of the installation environment may be poor, or ambient noise may be too high. Try increasing the distance between the main unit and sub-unit, or reduce the volume [volume-knob].
- Issue: Intermittent Sound (断音)
- The speaker may be too far from the microphone. Move closer to the microphone (ideally within 20cm).
- If ambient noise is too high, reduce the volume [volume-knob] of the corresponding speaker or ask the speaker to move closer to the microphone. The main unit can resolve this by turning off the control switch [control-switch] for the intermittent speaker's unit.
