Product Overview
The Heyday True Wireless Earbuds (Model ET-6506) feature a charging case with a USB-C charging port, a reset button, and LED indicators. The earbuds themselves have a multifunctional touch control, an LED indicator, and a microphone (Mic).
Dimensions: The charging case has approximate dimensions of 4.0 inches (101.6 mm) in width and 5.6 inches (142 mm) in height. The earbuds are designed to fit comfortably in the ear.
Pairing and Powering On/Off
Powering On
- Remove the earbuds from the charging case to power them on automatically.
- If earbuds are off or not in the case, press and hold both touch controls for 2 seconds.
Pairing
- When earbuds are first powered on and connected to each other, one earbud will flash red and white alternately, while the other will show a breathing white light.
- On your device (phone, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and select "HEYDAY EARBUD 06" to pair.
- Once successfully paired, both earbuds will display a breathing white light (pulsing every 2 seconds).
- If prompted for a pairing code, ensure you are connecting to the correct device. If issues persist, "forget" the device in your Bluetooth settings and re-pair. If still prompted, try entering "0000".
Powering Off
- Place the earbuds back into the charging case to power them off.
- Alternatively, press and hold both earbud touch controls for 5 seconds.
- The earbuds will automatically power off after 5 minutes of inactivity or disconnection.
Single Earbud Use
Either the left or right earbud can be used individually. Remove one earbud from the case; it will power on and automatically reconnect to the last paired device, or you can pair it manually with "HEYDAY EARBUD 06".
How to Wear
Each earbud is marked with an "L" for the left ear and an "R" for the right ear. Place the correct earbud in the corresponding ear, ensuring the speaker points upwards. Gently adjust the earbud to fit comfortably.
Ear Tip Adjustment: If the fit is uncomfortable or not secure, try changing the silicone ear tips. Gently pull the current tip off the earbud and press a new tip firmly into place.
Using Your Earbuds
Listening to Music
- Play/Pause: Press either the Left or Right earbud touch control once.
- Previous Song: Press and hold the Left earbud touch control for 2 seconds.
- Next Song: Press and hold the Right earbud touch control for 2 seconds.
Voice Assistant
- Activate/Exit Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Press either the Left or Right earbud touch control twice.
Phone Calls
- Music playback will pause for incoming calls.
- Answer/End Call: Press either the Left or Right earbud touch control once.
- Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold either the Left or Right earbud touch control for 2 seconds.
Charging
Charging the Earbuds
- Charge the earbuds fully before first use. This typically takes about 2 hours.
- Place the earbuds in the charging case. They will emit a steady red light while charging. The light turns white when fully charged.
Recharging the Charging Case
- The charging case's left LED will flash white rapidly when the battery is low.
- A full charge for the case takes approximately 2 hours.
- Connect the USB-C end of the charging cable to the case and the USB-A end to a 5V power supply.
- The case lights will flash white while charging and turn solid white when charging is complete.
Charging Case Light Indicators
- White flashing rapidly: Battery low.
- 1 Steady White: Approximately 25% charged.
- 2 Steady White: Approximately 50% charged.
- 3 Steady White: Approximately 75% charged.
- All 4 Steady White: Charging complete.
Resetting the Earbuds
If your earbuds are not functioning correctly, you can reset them. Place the earbuds in the charging case, then press and hold the reset button on the case for 6 seconds. The earbuds will power cycle (turn off and on) to confirm the reset.
Troubleshooting and Tips
- Earbuds not working: Try powering them off and on again.
- Earbuds won't turn on: Ensure the battery is charged.
- Earbuds won't charge: Verify the power supply is a 5V/0.5A source and is not damaged. Ensure the charging contacts are clean.
- No sound from earbuds: Check the volume level on your connected device.
- No sound or earbuds not appearing as a device: Make sure they are not paired to a different device. If they are, unpair them from the other device and re-pair with your desired device.
Safety Information
- Do not use the earbuds near water sources.
- Do not modify or attempt to repair the device yourself.
- Avoid using the earbuds in high temperatures or extreme weather conditions.
- Clean the earbuds with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemical detergents.
