V2L-HK VEHICLE-TO-LOAD ADAPTER

VEHICLE TYPE 2 to HOUSEHOLD socket-outlet

The V2L-HK adapter is designed to power various standard 230 Vac electrical devices using standard household plugs. These include power tools, cookers, ovens, refrigerators, lights, computers, and can also be used to charge electric bicycles/scooters and other electrical appliances. It draws power from Hyundai and Kia electric vehicles that feature an on-board V2L (vehicle-to-load) system. When used with a Metron portable EV charger, the V2L-HK adapter can also charge other electric cars from your Hyundai/Kia vehicle. The adapter has a maximum load capacity of up to 3.7 kW, depending on the vehicle's socket outlet.

GET STARTED

1. Switch off your vehicle and leave it unlocked.
2. Open the charge port and insert the V2L-HK adapter (1). Press the switch on the underside (2).

3. The adapter will lock into the car's socket, and the LED indicator light will start glowing (3).

4. When the LED is on, 230V AC mains electricity is available at the socket (4). You can now power various electrical devices.

5. To switch off the 230V power supply, press the switch (2) again.
6. To unplug the adapter from the vehicle, first press the "unlock" button on the key fob (5).

Important Notes

? If the V2L-HK cuts off power during use, it may be due to an overload or low battery charge. Check the vehicle condition and charge level to determine the cause of no output power.

The Vehicle-to-Load type adapter is compatible with Hyundai and Kia electric vehicles only. It will NOT work on other electric vehicles.

GREEN PRODUCTION

All Metron products are produced in a carbon-neutral manner using a "Sustainable energy cycle" method. The production facility is the first fully sustainable production site for EV charging cables and portable charging stations. Energy for heating, cooling, production processes, and employee transportation (excluding heavy material deliveries) is generated by two photovoltaic power plants and stored in four storage batteries. Nearly all raw materials used for cables and plugs are produced within the EU, shortening supply routes and supporting the local economy. Purchasing Metron products contributes to the development of a sustainable economy.

LIMITED WARRANTY

METRON warrants its product to the original consumer purchaser. Metron will repair or replace any product determined to be defective within the following terms: Two (2) years from the date of purchase on all components. To be eligible for repair or replacement under this warranty, the product must be returned to METRON within the warranty period and the original consumer purchaser must comply with these conditions: The product must not have been modified or altered in any way by an unauthorized source, and it must have been used in accordance with the user manual.

This limited warranty does not cover: Damage due to improper use; Accidental or intentional damage; Misuse, abuse, corrosion, or neglect; Product impairment by severe natural conditions, such as excessive hail storms, lightning strikes, tornados, flooding, ice, or other natural occurrences; Damage due to improper packaging on return shipment.

Any labor charges for troubleshooting, removal, or replacement of the product are not covered by this warranty and will not be honored by METRON. All shipping costs regarding repair or replacement of the product must be pre-paid by the original consumer purchaser.
