This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.

Never use with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized attachment plug. Do not alter the plug.

Assembly Instructions

Component: Lampshade cylinder, labeled '1x'.

Step 1

Connect the three vertical support rods to the central ring. Close-up views show a finger pressing a clip to secure a rod, and the three rods attached to a central hub.

Step 2

Attach the base frame to the bottom of the support rods. Close-up views show a threaded connection being made and a nut being tightened to secure the base.

Step 3

Join the main pole sections. Close-up views illustrate inserting one pole section into another.

Step 4

Attach the lamp head assembly to the top of the pole. Close-up views show two points where a component clicks into place.

Step 5

If applicable, join further main pole sections. Close-up views illustrate inserting one pole section into another.

Step 6

Attach the lampshade support ring to the top of the pole assembly. A close-up view shows a component being twisted to secure the ring.

Step 7

Screw the top cap or finial onto the threaded end of the pole. A close-up view shows the twisting motion.

Step 8

Lower the lampshade cylinder onto the assembled frame. A close-up view shows a nut being twisted at the base of the lampshade to secure it.

Step 9

Secure the lampshade to the frame. Close-up views show two points where the shade is attached, possibly by pressing clips or fitting it onto supports.

Step 10

Final check of the assembled lamp. Close-up views show the base and how the power cord is managed.
