STRANDAD Floor Lamp
Assembly Instructions
Important Safety Instructions
For indoor use only.
This product features a polarized plug, meaning one blade is wider than the other. This is a safety feature designed to reduce the risk of electric shock. The plug will only fit into a polarized outlet in one orientation. If the plug does not fit completely, try reversing it. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt to bypass the safety feature of the polarized plug or alter the plug itself.
CAUTION
To prevent electrical shock, match the wide blade of the plug to the wide slot and insert fully.
WARNING
Deviation from the assembly instructions may result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
Step 1
Assemble the base structure. Connect the three upright metal poles to the circular base. Each pole is inserted into a designated socket on the base and secured.
[Diagram Description: Shows three vertical poles being attached to a circular base frame. Close-up shows a pole being inserted into a socket on the base, with an arrow indicating insertion.]
Step 2
Attach the first section of the central pole to the top of the assembled base structure. Screw the pole section into the fitting on the base until it is secure.
[Diagram Description: Shows a pole section being inserted downwards into the top of the base assembly. A close-up shows a threaded connection being screwed together.]
Step 3
Feed the power cord through the central pole sections. Attach the lamp holder assembly to the top of the pole, ensuring the power cord passes through the center of the assembly.
[Diagram Description: Shows the power cord being threaded down through the pole. The lamp holder unit is shown being attached to the top of the pole, with the cord passing through it.]
Step 4
Secure the lamp holder assembly. There are three points of connection, indicated by 'Click!', suggesting a push-and-lock mechanism to attach the assembly firmly to the pole.
[Diagram Description: Shows the lamp holder assembly being attached to the top of the pole. Close-ups show three connection points where the assembly clicks into place.]
Step 5
Add the next section of the pole by inserting it into the top of the previously attached section. Push down firmly until it is fully seated and secure.
[Diagram Description: Shows a pole section being inserted into the top of the existing pole. Arrows indicate downward insertion.]
Step 6
Install a light bulb (not included) into the lamp holder. Screw the bulb in gently until it is snug.
[Diagram Description: Shows a light bulb being screwed into the lamp holder socket.]
Step 7
Screw the decorative cap or finial onto the top of the pole. Turn it clockwise until it is firmly attached.
[Diagram Description: Shows a cap being screwed onto the threaded top of the pole. Arrows indicate a clockwise turning motion.]
Step 8
Place the lampshade over the lamp holder assembly. Align the shade with the top of the pole and secure it by tightening the cap or finial from underneath.
[Diagram Description: Shows the cylindrical lampshade being placed over the lamp holder. The shade is then secured by tightening a fitting from below.]
Step 9
Ensure the lampshade is properly seated and secured. There are two points on the shade's frame that clip onto the lamp holder structure for stability.
[Diagram Description: Shows the lampshade being adjusted. Close-ups show two clips on the lampshade frame engaging with the lamp holder structure.]
Step 10
Make any final adjustments to the lampshade or structure to ensure stability and proper alignment. The lamp is now assembled.
