If the flexible outer cable of this lamp becomes damaged, it must be replaced exclusively by the manufacturer, its authorized service representative, or a similarly qualified professional to prevent hazards. If you are uncertain about the replacement process, please contact IKEA.

Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Assemble Base and Support Rods

Parts: Lamp shade structure (1x) [Part Number: 10122294], 3x Support Rods.

Description: Take the main cylindrical lamp shade structure. It has a frame at the bottom. Insert the three support rods into the designated slots on the bottom frame. Ensure each rod is securely fitted.

Step 2: Connect Vertical Pole Sections

Description: From the assembled base, a central threaded post extends upwards. Screw the first section of the main vertical pole onto this post. Then, screw the second section of the vertical pole onto the first section, extending the height.

Step 3: Attach Lamp Socket Holder

Description: Continue assembling the vertical pole by connecting further sections if applicable. Attach the component that holds the light bulb socket to the top of the assembled vertical pole. A wire runs down along the pole, connecting to the socket holder.

Step 4: Secure Lamp Shade Frame

Description: Attach the upper part of the lamp shade frame to the top of the pole assembly. It should click into place. Attach the lower part of the lamp shade frame to the base structure. This also clicks into place, securing the frame to the base.

Step 5: Extend Vertical Pole

Description: Extend the vertical pole to its desired height by joining the pole sections. Slide the upper pole section into the lower section and ensure the connection is secure.

Step 6: Install Light Bulb

Description: Screw a suitable light bulb (not included) into the socket at the top of the lamp. Turn clockwise until snug.

Step 7: Secure Top Cap

Description: Screw the decorative top cap onto the threaded end of the pole at the very top of the lamp.

Step 8: Attach Lamp Shade

Description: Carefully lower the cylindrical lamp shade over the assembled frame. Align the shade with the frame structure. Secure the shade to the frame at the top and bottom points, ensuring it is firmly attached.

Step 9: Final Adjustments

Description: Ensure the lamp shade is straight and centered on the frame. Check that all connections and fasteners are secure.

Step 10: Completion

Description: The STRANDAD floor lamp assembly is now complete. Ensure the power cord is arranged safely and neatly.
