Important Safety Warnings
- ⚠️ To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury:
- Installation by a licensed electrician is suggested.
- Read instructions carefully and save for future reference.
- Turn off electricity at the main fuse or circuit breaker box and place the wall switch in the "OFF" position before starting any work.
- The mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, strong enough, and at least 1/4" larger than the canopy on all sides. Correct any gaps between the mounting surface and canopy exceeding 3/16".
- Ensure the ceiling or wall can support the lamp's weight before installation.
- Verify the voltage is 120V. The maximum wattage is Type B, Max 40W per bulb.
- Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances to prevent surface damage.
- When replacing bulbs, turn off or unplug the lamp and wait until it is cool, as bulbs get hot quickly.
- These safety instructions are not exhaustive; common sense, caution, and care must be used with any electrical products.

Assembly & Installation Instructions
Step 1: Preparation
- Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included.
- Turn off power at the main fuse/circuit breaker box and the wall switch before starting installation.
Step 2: Mounting Plate Installation
- Unscrew knob nuts (F) from back plate (E) and mounting plate (D); set them aside.
- Pass the supply wires from the outlet box through mounting plate (D).
- Secure mounting plate (D) to the outlet box using mounting screws (A).
Step 3: Wire Connections
- Connect wires as shown in the wiring chart. Ground wire is bare copper; never connect other wires to ground wires.
- Ground Wire Connection: Connect the outlet box ground wire to the fixture ground wire and the green ground screw (C) on the mounting plate.
- Supply Wire Connection:
- Connect the "Hot" wire (typically black, parallel cord smooth/round) from the supply to the socket wire (typically black or brown, clear/gold/black without tracer).
- Connect the "Neutral" wire (typically white, parallel cord ridged/square) from the supply to the socket wire (typically white, clear/brown/gold/black with tracer).
- *Note on parallel wires (SPT I & SPT II): The neutral wire is square-shaped or ridged, and the other wire is round in shape or smooth.*
- Twist wires together with plastic wire connectors (B) until tightly joined. Wrap each connector with approved electrical tape, ensuring no wire strands are exposed.
- Carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.
Step 4: Attach Back Plate
- Align the holes in back plate (E) with the pre-assembled mounting screws on mounting plate (D).
- Attach back plate (E) to mounting plate (D) using the knob nuts (F) previously removed. Hand tighten until snug.
- Adjustment Note: If back plate (E) is not snug against the wall, remove it and adjust the threaded length of the pre-assembled mounting screws on mounting plate (D) by loosening/tightening the hex nuts. Re-attach and check for snugness.
Step 5: Install Bulbs and Lampshades
- Install bulbs (not included). Do not exceed the maximum wattage recommended on the socket (Type B, Max 40W).
- Carefully screw lampshades (H) onto sockets (G).
