Important Safety Warnings
WARNING (To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury):
- Installation by a licensed electrician is suggested.
- Please read these instructions carefully and save them for future reference.

- Go to the main fuse or circuit breaker box in your home.
- Place the main power switch in the "OFF" position.
- Place the wall switch in the "OFF" position.
- The mounting surface must be clean, dry, flat, strong enough, and at least 1/4” larger than the canopy on all sides. Any gaps exceeding 3/16" should be corrected.
- Ensure the ceiling or wall can support the weight of the lamp before installation.
- Verify the voltage is 120V. The maximum wattage per bulb is 40W.
- Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances to prevent surface damage.
- When replacing bulbs, turn off or unplug the lamp and wait for it to cool down, as bulbs get hot quickly.
- The safety instructions in this manual are not exhaustive and do not cover all possible conditions. Common sense, caution, and care must be used with any electrical products.

Assembly & Installation Instructions
1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included as shown in the illustration.
2. Turn off power:
Before starting installation, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
- Go to the main fuse or circuit breaker box in your home.
- Place the main power switch in the "OFF" position.
- Place the wall switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Make installation:
Step A1: Prepare Mounting Plate
Unscrew knob nuts (K) from the back plate (G), then gently remove the mounting plate (E). Set them aside for later installation.
Diagram A1 illustrates unscrewing knob nuts (K) from the back plate (G) and removing the mounting plate (E).
Step A2: Mount the Plate
Carefully pass the supply wires from the outlet box through the mounting plate (E).
NOTE: To drill holes on the wall for anchors (B):
- Attach mounting plate (E) to the outlet box with mounting screws (C) and mark the holes.
- Unscrew mounting screws (C) and remove mounting plate (E). Drill holes and gently knock anchors (B) into the holes until they are level with the wall.
- Secure mounting plate (E) to the outlet box with mounting screws (C) and wood screws (D).
Diagram A2 shows passing supply wires through the mounting plate (E) and marking holes for anchors (B) on the wall. It also depicts securing the mounting plate (E) with screws (C) and wood screws (D).
Step A3: Make Wire Connections
Connect wires as shown in the wiring diagrams. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GROUND WIRE IS BARE COPPER WIRE; NEVER CONNECT OTHER WIRES TO GROUND WIRES.
Ground Wire Connections:
Diagrams A and B illustrate connecting ground wires. Diagram A shows connecting the outlet box ground wire to the fixture ground wire using a green ground screw, with dimples indicated. Diagram B shows a similar connection with a cupped washer.
Supply Wire Connections:
Connect Black or Red Supply Wire to: | Connect White Supply Wire to: |
---|---|
Black | White |
*Parallel cord (round & smooth) | *Parallel cord (square & ridged) |
Clear, Brown, Gold or Black without tracer | Clear, Brown, Gold or Black with tracer |
Insulated wire (other than green) with copper conductor | Insulated wire (other than green) with silver conductor |
*Note: When parallel wires (SPT I & SPT II) are used, the neutral wire is square-shaped or ridged, and the other wire will be round in shape or smooth (see illustration).
Twist wires together with plastic wire connectors until tightly joined. Wrap each connector with approved electrical tape. Ensure no wire strands are exposed, and then carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.

Step A4: Attach Back Plate
Align the holes in the back plate (G) with the pre-assembled mounting screws. Attach the back plate (G) to the mounting plate (E) using the previously removed knob nuts (K). Hand tighten until snug.
Diagram A4 depicts attaching the back plate (G) to the mounting plate (E) using knob nuts (K).
Step A5: Install Shades and Bulbs
- Remove screws (J) from iron frames (I). Place glass shades (L) on iron frames (I) and secure them with screws (J).
- Install bulbs (Not included). Please do not exceed the maximum wattage recommended on the socket.
Diagram A5 shows placing glass shades (L) onto iron frames (I) and securing them with screws (J).
4. Check everything is installed properly, then you can turn on the light. Enjoy!
