Warnings and Safety Instructions
⚠️ WARNING (To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury):
- We suggest installation by a licensed electrician.
- Please read the instructions carefully and save them for future reference.

- The mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, strong enough, and 1/4” larger than the canopy on all sides. Any gaps between the mounting surface and canopy exceeding 3/16" should be corrected as required.
- Make sure that the ceiling or wall can stand the weight of the lamp before installation.
- Ensure the voltage you are using is 120V. The maximum wattage is 40W per bulb.
- Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances to prevent damage to the lamp's surface.
- When replacing bulbs, turn off or unplug the lamp and wait until it is cool, as bulbs get hot quickly.

Assembly & Installation Instructions
Step A1 » Unscrew knob nuts (K) from back plate (G) then gently remove mounting plate (E). Then set them aside for later installation.
Diagram Description: Illustration showing the removal of knob nuts (K) from the back plate (G) and the subsequent removal of the mounting plate (E).
Step A2 » Carefully pass the supply wires from the outlet box through mounting plate (E).
NOTE: To drill the holes on the wall for anchors (B):
- Attach mounting plate (E) to the outlet box with mounting screws (C) and mark the holes.
- Unscrew mounting screws (C) and remove mounting plate (E), drill holes and gently knock anchors (B) into the holes until anchors (B) are level with the wall.
- Secure mounting plate (E) to the outlet box with mounting screws (C) and wood screws (D).
Diagram Description: Shows passing wires through the mounting plate (E) and securing the mounting plate to the outlet box using screws (C) and wood screws (D), with a note on preparing holes for anchors (B).
Step A3 » Make wire connections
Connect wires as shown in the wire connection diagram. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GROUND WIRE IS A BARE COPPER WIRE; NEVER CONNECT OTHER WIRES TO GROUND WIRES.
Connect ground wires according to the below chart:
Diagram Description: Illustrates connecting the ground wire from the outlet box to the fixture's ground wire, typically a bare copper wire, using a green ground screw. Shows two common scenarios for outlet box and fixture ground wires.
Connect wires according to the below chart:
Connect Black or Red Supply Wire to: | Connect White Supply Wire to: |
---|---|
Black | White |
*Parallel cord (round & smooth) | *Parallel cord (square & ridged) |
Clear, Brown, Gold or Black without tracer | Clear, Brown, Gold or Black with tracer |
Insulated wire (other than green) with copper conductor | Insulated wire (other than green) with silver conductor |
*Note: When parallel wires (SPT I & SPT II) are used, the neutral wire is square-shaped or ridged and the other wire will be round in shape or smooth (see illustration).
Diagram Description: A visual guide for connecting the main supply wires. It shows that the black or red supply wire connects to the fixture's black wire, and the white supply wire connects to the fixture's white wire. It details how to identify and connect different types of wires, including parallel cords and insulated wires, based on their shape and presence of a tracer. The neutral wire is identified by its square or ridged shape for parallel cords.
Twist wires together with plastic wire connectors until tightly joined, and wrap each connector with approved electrical tape. Be sure that no wire strands are exposed and then carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.
Diagram Description: Shows twisting wires together with plastic wire connectors, wrapping them with electrical tape, and tucking them into the outlet box. It emphasizes ensuring no wire strands are exposed.
Step A4 » Align the holes in back plate (G) with the pre-assembled mounting screws, then attach back plate (G) to mounting plate (E) with the previously removed knob nuts (K). Hand tighten until snug.
Diagram Description: Illustration showing the back plate (G) being aligned with the mounting screws on the mounting plate (E) and secured with knob nuts (K).
Step A5 » 1) Remove screws (J) from iron frames (I). Place glass shades (L) on iron frames (I) and secure them with screws (J). 2) Install bulbs (Not included) (Please do not exceed the maximum wattage recommended on the socket.)
Diagram Description: Shows removing screws (J) from iron frames (I), placing glass shades (L) onto the frames, and securing them with screws (J). Also indicates the installation of bulbs.
4. Check everything is installed properly, then you could turn on the light. Enjoy!
