NVR Overview

The front of the NVR features the Techage logo and the text 'Smart Network Video Recorder'.

The back of the NVR includes the following ports and indicators:

  • Indicator Lights: Red indicator light (on when NVR is plugged into power adapter DC 12V 2.5A). Green indicator light (off when HDD is not connected or formatted; flashes slowly when NVR is recording; always on when HDD is connected but NVR is not recording).
  • IR: Receives infrared remote control signal.
  • Ports: Audio Out (for speaker), VGA Port (for VGA monitor), HD Port (for HD monitor), WAN Port (connect to Internet), USB Ports (for mouse and backup), DC Power Port (for 12V 2.5A power adapter, 5.5*2.1mm plug size).

Hard Disk Installation

Please install the hard disk first. If not, the video recorder can only monitor normally, but cannot record or playback video.

Installation Steps:

  1. Remove the case.
  2. Plug in SATA cable.
  3. Screw HDD to the bottom.
  4. Install the case back.
