01. About WiFi AI Camera

Camera Ports and Indicators:

  • 1. DC Power Port: Power input 12V 1A.
  • 2. Reset Button: Resets the camera to factory default settings and enters WiFi search mode.
  • 3. RJ45 Port: For connecting the camera to a router via network.
  • 4. Speaker: For two-way talk, warning sound playback, alarm sounds, or broadcasting.
  • 5. Microphone: Picks up sound (microphone placement may vary by model).

This WiFi camera features AI technology for enhanced detection, preventing false alarms caused by the movement of pets or tree branches.

The camera is equipped with a speaker for two-way communication and warning sound playback. When a person is detected, it will play sounds such as 'Alert area, please leave' or 'Hello, welcome!'. This feature is off by default.

02. View on Smartphone

TF Card Installation:

Remove the two screws from the speaker cover to reveal the camera's TF card slot.

1. Download and Install the iCsee App:

Scan the QR code below or search for 'iCsee' on the App Store or Google Play to download the app. During installation, select 'Always Allow' for full functionality and push notifications.

2. Add WiFi AI Camera:

After installing the app on your smartphone, you can register an account and begin adding your WiFi AI camera.

2.1 Smart WiFi Setup

Power on the camera using the power adapter. The camera's white light will illuminate for a few seconds, indicating it is in WiFi and initialization mode. You can add the camera to WiFi. (Alternatively, press the reset button to put the camera in initialization mode and program the WiFi.)

Before adding, ensure your smartphone is connected to the same router's WiFi as the camera. Place your camera and smartphone near the router, within 10 feet.

Click the icon in the top right, then click 'Add My Camera', and follow the steps. You will hear voice prompts. Once the WiFi is successfully set up for the camera, a voice message will play, and the 'Set Password' page will open. Set a password and name the device to view the video. If you still cannot connect, try connecting via a wired Ethernet cable to set up WiFi.

2.2 Using a Wired Ethernet Cable for WiFi Setup

Connect the Ethernet cable to the router. Ensure your smartphone is connected to the router's WiFi. Click the icon in the top right, then click 'More', and select 'Add Camera to Same Router'. This will display a list of cameras on the same WLAN. Select the camera you wish to add. Then, return to the camera's video image page.

After successfully adding the camera, click 'Setup' > 'Network Settings'. Select the WiFi you want to add, enter the WiFi password, and click 'Save' to confirm the transition to router mode. Connection will begin. Upon success, you will return to the video image page. Connecting the camera via an Ethernet cable will result in the message 'Connected the router successfully!'

3. App Usage

Once the camera is added to the app, follow the steps below to configure it.

Operating the Camera:

Click the camera's video image to take quick snapshots, use two-way audio, and play back videos recorded on the TF card.

Click the icon to record video and calculate the duration of the recorded video on your mobile phone.

Setup:

In Setup, you can configure basic settings such as device name, language, etc. You can also change the password, set alarms, enable/disable warning push notifications, and check storage and network settings.

4. Unit Functions

Alarm Sound Function:

After detecting a person, you can configure the camera's warning actions. This includes taking snapshots or recording video. It can also play sounds like a beep, or a 'Bell Alarm' sound. Clicking 'Bell Alarm' allows you to select prompt sounds such as 'Alert area, please leave', 'Hello, welcome!', or 'Howling Alarm'. By default, this function is turned off.

Floodlight

In the video playback view, click the ? icon to view the camera's IR light settings. The camera has two types of lights: red and white. There are three modes:

  • White Light Mode: White light is on at night.
  • Normal Mode: White light is off during the day and night. Infrared light is on only at night.
  • Dual Light Mode: Infrared light is on at night, and white light turns on after human detection. (This is the camera's default mode.)

AI Intelligence Functions

Within motion detection, you can find 'Intelligent Vigilance'. AI functions include 'Humanoid Detection', 'Trace Display', and 'Perimeter Alarm'.

  • Humanoid Detection: This method uses AI technology to detect human movement, making it more accurate than motion sensors and preventing false alarms.
  • Mostrar rastros (Show Traces): When this function is enabled, it tracks people as they enter the real-time video and move.
  • Perimeter Alert: There are two types of settings for perimeter alerts: an alert line and an alert area. For the alert line, you can draw a line on the video image and receive an alert when a person crosses it. You can also set different alert directions for the alert line. The perimeter alert also has an alert area setting.

03. View via IE on PC

Download the DeviceManage software from http://techage.com/download.php and install it.

Ensure the IP camera and PC are connected to the same LAN. Open the Device Management software, search for the IP camera, click on it, and then click 'WebBrowse'. The browser will open. Please allow the ActiveX control. If you cannot install the ActiveX control, search for 'How to install ActiveX control' on our website: http://www.techage.com/knowledge.php.

04. View with PC Software

Step 1: Download the VMS software from http://techage.com/download.php. After opening the VMS software, click Login directly. You do not need to enter a password; leave it blank.

Step 2: Navigate to Device Manager > IP Search. Find your NVR, select it, and click 'Add'.

After successfully adding the camera, click 'Setup' > 'Network Settings'. Select the WiFi you want to add, enter the WiFi password, and click 'Save' to confirm the transition to router mode. Connection will begin. Upon success, you will return to the video image page. Connecting the camera via an Ethernet cable will result in the message 'Connected the router successfully!'
