PoE AI Camera
Diagram of the Techage PoE AI Camera. It shows four connection points: 1. DC Power Port (12V 1A input), 2. RJ45 Port (for Ethernet cable, video transmission, and 48V DC power supply from NVR), 3. Speaker (? for two-way talk, alert voice play, and broadcast), and 4. Microphone (? for audio input). The camera's mic position may vary between models.
This PoE camera features AI capabilities, including floodlight activation at night upon human detection. Human detection is a smarter motion detection method using AI technology, offering higher accuracy than standard motion sensors and reducing false alarms from pets.
The camera is equipped with a speaker for two-way talk and alert voice playback. When human detection or an alarm event occurs, it can play pre-recorded voice messages like: "Alert area, please leave" or "Hello, welcome!" if this feature is enabled (it is off by default).
Tips: For detailed settings on floodlight on/off and alert voice, refer to Chapter 08.
01. Connect Your System
System connection diagram illustrating the setup of the Techage PoE AI Camera System. It shows multiple IP Cameras connected via Ethernet cables to the NVR's PoE ports. The NVR is connected to a Router via an Ethernet cable. Display devices such as TV Monitors and a Mouse are connected to the NVR. A separate 'Display Device for Remote View' (smartphone/tablet/PC) is shown connected wirelessly or via the network.
1. Connect Your System
- Connect the PoE cameras to their respective ports using Ethernet cables from the security kit.
- Plug the included mouse into a USB port on the rear panel of the NVR.
- Connect an LCD display to the NVR and power it on.
- Connect the NVR to your router using an Ethernet cable.
- Plug the power adapter cable into the NVR's DC port, then connect the power adapter to a power strip. The system uses a single DC 48V or higher power adapter for the NVR.
