Ezlo Atom Product Manual (Short Version)
Interoperability Statement
This product can be operated in any Z-Wave network with other Z-Wave certified devices from other manufacturers. All mains operated nodes within the network will act as repeaters regardless of vendor to increase reliability of the network.
Location of the Security 2 DSK on the Product
The DSK can be found at the back of the product and also in the box. DSK is not accessible from the UI.

This quick start guide describes how to set up the controller however doesn't describe how to locate the DSK.

Open the mobile app, click on the three line icon [menu icon] in the top right corner to open the side menu and select Devices.

Then, hit on the button [Add Device button].

Pairing Process
Look for the device you want to pair so it can show you the pairing steps for the device.
This screenshot shows a list of 'Additional Devices' categories like 'Alarms', 'Dimmers and Lights', 'Door Locks', etc., and 'Generic Z-Wave device'. The user is expected to select the appropriate category for the device they wish to pair.
The Hub is on pairing mode as it shows the message at the top: 'Add new devices now...'.

Naming and Assigning the Device
Follow the inclusion steps to pair the device. Once paired, a confirmation message will appear and the user will be able to name the device and add it to a room.

The unit can be taken to exclusion by going to the device which is going to be excluded. Then click on the delete icon [trash can icon].

Select the unpair option so the Hub goes into exclusion mode, it allows to see a message which says: 'Remove device now...'.
This screenshot shows a 'Confirmation Required' dialog box. It prompts the user to click [UNPAIR button] if the device is working and needs removal, or [DELETE button] if the device is missing or malfunctioning. [CANCEL button], [DELETE button], and [UNPAIR button] are present.
Exclusion Process
The controller is ready to remove the device and reset it.
Please follow the device's exclusion instructions as described in the manual that came along with it.

It indicates the controller is ready to remove the device and reset it, and instructs to follow the device's specific exclusion instructions.
Follow the steps on the device to unpair it. After this process, the device is gone from the system and hub.
Product Learn Mode Activation
The learn mode is not yet available from the customer UI but it can be triggered by an advanced set of tools.
The Learn Mode can be activated through the API Tool following these steps:
- Open the API tool going to the link: https://apitool.ezlo.com/auth
- Search for a controller
- Connect to the controller
- Once the connection is established, in API Call section select hub.extensions.plugin.run
- Select HUB:zwave/scripts/start_learn
Initiate Controller Replication
Follow Device inclusion procedure.
Product Factory Reset
The gateway can be reset using the following methods:
- Wi-Fi Reset: Set network settings to factory defaults. With the gateway still plugged into the USB port, press the [reset button] twice within a lapse of less than 2 seconds. The [status LED] will blink twice per second as confirmation.
- Soft Reset: This will remove all paired devices and reset user settings, while remaining on the configured Wi-Fi network. The [status LED] will blink fast as confirmation. With the gateway still plugged into the USB port for power, [long-press] on the [reset button] for 7 seconds (or more than 5 but less than 9).
- Factory Reset: Reestablish all gateway settings to factory defaults. With the gateway still plugged into the USB port, [long-press] the [reset button] for more than 10 seconds. The Status LED will turn ON solid as confirmation.
