When potential issues occur, be aware that the monitor is functioning within manufacturing tolerances and does not indicate a defect.
- Screen flicker may occur when first turning on the monitor. Turn it off and back on.
- Brightness levels may appear uneven on different images.
- The effective pixel count should approximate 99.99%, with a possible 0.01% or less failure rate due to dead or stuck pixels.

Adaptive-Sync (AMD FreeSync or Nvidia G-Sync)
FreeSync technology eliminates screen tearing and reduces lag during gameplay, improving the gaming experience. The displayed FreeSync menu items may vary based on the monitor model and compatibility with AMD graphics cards.
Nvidia G-Sync:
If you are using Nvidia GTX 10-series or RTX 20-series graphics cards, you can utilize the Adaptive-Sync (FreeSync) function. This requires the latest Nvidia GPU updates. Please download and install the latest update if you intend to use Adaptive-Sync (FreeSync) with your Nvidia GTX graphics cards.
FYI: How to enable FreeSync on Nvidia GPU:
- Right-click on the Windows desktop and select "Nvidia Control Panel".
- Expand the "Display" section in the left-hand navigation pane and select "Set up G-Sync".
- Check the "Enable G-Sync, G-Sync Compatible" box and select the Active Sync display you wish to use if you have more than one monitor.
- Check the "Enable settings for the selected display model" box.
- Click "Apply" in the bottom-right corner.
If the above steps are unavailable or not working, you may need to go to "Manage 3D Settings", click the "Global" tab, scroll down to "Monitor Technology", select "G-SYNC Compatible" from the drop-down menu, and then click "Apply".
Even though AMD Radeon GPUs and some FreeSync monitors support Adaptive Sync over HDMI, Nvidia recommends connecting your GeForce GPU to your FreeSync monitor using a DisplayPort cable to activate variable refresh rates. (G-Sync monitors also work exclusively over DisplayPort).
