Before Using the Product
Installation Space and Environment
Ensure adequate space around the product for ventilation to prevent fire and damage due to internal temperature rise. Do not install near heaters, high-temperature products, or humidifiers. Avoid direct sunlight and keep original packaging for transport.
Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth for cleaning. Do not use corrosive or strong detergents, as they can permanently damage the panel and void the warranty. Always unplug the power cord before cleaning. Be cautious with liquids to avoid irreparable damage to electrical components.
Do not place the monitor near water sources (e.g., bathrooms, kitchens) or in humid areas. Avoid unstable or uneven surfaces, as dropping the monitor may cause injury. When transporting, secure it upright or use original packaging.
Ensure ventilation openings are not covered. Avoid confined spaces like bookcases for proper functionality.
If the monitor will not be used for an extended period, unplug the power cord to prevent damage from lightning strikes or abnormal voltage incidents.
Do not overburden electrical sockets. Do not insert foreign objects into the monitor. Do not attempt self-repair by removing the back panel, as this risks shock and voids the warranty. Contact Pixio directly for RMA issues.

KVM Switch Guide
What is a KVM Switch?
A KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) switch allows a single set of peripherals (keyboard, mouse) to control multiple computers. It can also be used for other USB devices like flash drives.
Setup Example: Two PCs, One Monitor
To control two PCs with one monitor, keyboard, and mouse:
- Connect your peripherals (keyboard, mouse) to the monitor's USB1 and USB2 ports.
- Connect Monitor 1 to PC 1 using a USB-B to USB-A cable.
- Connect Monitor 1 to PC 2 using a USB-C to USB-C cable or a USB-C to USB-A cable.
- Ensure you use appropriate display cables (e.g., DisplayPort or HDMI) to connect each PC to the monitor for video output. A Pixio branded cable is recommended.
Note: The USB-B to USB-A and USB-C cables may need to be purchased separately.
Using the KVM Switch
To switch control between PCs:
- Tap the DOWN button on the monitor's jog button. The KVM menu will appear.
- Select the desired input source (USB UP or Type C) to control the corresponding PC.
Important Notes for KVM Usage:
- The Type C port will be disabled as a display input when the KVM switch is active.
- The KVM switch is active on only one input (USB UP or Type C) at a time.
- Avoid switching KVM inputs while transferring files via USB flash drives to prevent data corruption.
- If using the monitor's LAN port, only one connected device will have internet access at any given time.
Adaptive-Sync Technology
Eliminating Screen Tearing
Adaptive Sync technology synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate with the GPU's frame rate, eliminating screen tearing and reducing input lag for a smoother gaming experience.
Note: The availability and specific menu items for Adaptive Sync may vary based on the monitor model and GPU compatibility.
Nvidia G-Sync Compatibility
For users with Nvidia GTX 10-series or RTX 20-series graphics cards, Adaptive Sync can be enabled as G-Sync Compatible. This requires the latest Nvidia GPU drivers.
How to Enable Adaptive Sync on Nvidia GPU:
- Right-click on the Windows desktop and select "Nvidia Control Panel".
- In the left-hand navigation pane, expand "Display" and select "Set up G-Sync".
- Check the box for "Enable G-Sync, G-Sync Compatible". Select the active sync display if multiple monitors are connected.
- Check the box for "Enable settings for the selected display model".
- Click "Apply".
If the above options are not available or not working, navigate to "Manage 3D Settings", select the "Global" tab, scroll to "Monitor Technology", choose "G-SYNC Compatible" from the dropdown, and click "Apply".
Connection Note: While some AMD GPUs and monitors support Adaptive Sync over HDMI, Nvidia recommends connecting GeForce GPUs to Adaptive Sync monitors using a DisplayPort cable to activate variable refresh rates. G-Sync monitors also typically require DisplayPort.
