Adaptive-Sync. (AMD FreeSync)

FreeSync technology minimizes lag and screen tearing, allowing for a smoother gaming experience. The FreeSync menu options may vary depending on the monitor model and your AMD graphics card.

Nvidia G-Sync

Users with Nvidia GTX 10 series or RTX 20 series graphics cards can utilize the Adaptive-Sync (FreeSync) feature. This requires the latest Nvidia GPU drivers.

If using Adaptive-Sync (FreeSync) with an Nvidia GTX graphics card, please install the latest driver updates.

How to Use FreeSync with Nvidia GPU

  1. Right-click on the Windows desktop and select Nvidia Control Panel.
  2. On the left side of the panel, click the Display section tab and open Set up G-Sync.
  3. Check Enable G-Sync, and G-Sync Compatible. If you have multiple monitors, select the ActiveSync display you wish to use.
  4. Check Enable settings for the selected display model.
  5. Click Apply at the bottom right.

Note: If the above menu options are not found or do not apply, select Manage 3D Settings, go to the Global tab, and from the Monitor Technology dropdown, select G-Sync Compatible and click Apply.

Note: Even if your monitor supports AdaptiveSync via HDMI, you must use DisplayPort to use the AdaptiveSync feature with a GeForce GPU. (For G-Sync compatible monitors, the G-Sync function may only be available via DisplayPort.) Please check Nvidia's official guidelines for details.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Monitor Not Displaying

If your delivered monitor is not displaying correctly, please try the following methods:

① Possibility of Temporary Malfunction

  1. Power Cycle: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds or more, then confirm the indicator light has turned off. Afterwards, turn the power back on.
  2. Monitor Discharge: Turn off the monitor, unplug the power cable. Leave it unplugged for about 1 hour, then reconnect the power cable and turn it on.
  3. Connected Device Discharge: If PC or game consoles are connected, turn them off, unplug their power cables from the outlet, and let them discharge completely.

② Possibility of Connection Issues

  1. Reseating Cables: To check for loose or poor connections, unplug and reinsert the power cable and video signal cable (e.g., HDMI cable). If you have spare power and video cables, try replacing them to see if the issue is resolved.
  2. Input Switching: To confirm if the currently connected port is selected, use the shortcut keys to switch input sources. (Refer to the "Setup Guide" section of this manual for shortcut key information.)

If the issue is not resolved after trying the above steps, please contact us. We will provide repair services as necessary after confirming your usage environment and symptoms.
