Installation Steps
- Remove the rear bumper (screw fixings around the edge and tip nuts at each wheel arch). Locate and remove the two nuts that will allow the wheel arch mouldings to move out, this will release each bumper tip. Remove the steel impact beam. Cut a small section 115 x 60 mm from the centre of the lower edge of the bumper.
- Remove the floor coverings and rear panel interior trim. Locate the dimples on the rear panel and drill four 13mm holes.
- Locate the dimples above each chassis member two on each side. (Remove the mastic on the left hand Side). Drill 11mm holes down through into the chassis.
- Place item A inside the boot and up against the rear panel. Using item J with item L loosely bolt item B to the rear panel at the same time securing item A.
- Place item C over the holes drilled above the right hand chassis, and with item C1 on the left with item D used as packers on the left hand side (see sketch) item E placed up into the chassis, secure using item H and item K on the bottom face of the chassis member. Item F is used on the forward hole on the right hand side.
- Using item G bolt the ball bracket and wiring plate (not supplied in this kit) to the mounting plate.
- Fully tighten all nuts and bolts and ensure the towbar is rigid and secure.
- Replace the impact beam and bumper.

1. Recommended Torque Setting for M12 Grade 10.9 -139 Nm. (For other Torque Settings see notes overleaf.)
2. Nose load limits and vehicle manufacturer's trailer / caravan weight limits must be observed.
