Install Software

Download and install Zebra Setup Utilities from www.zebra.com/setup. This includes Windows Printer Driver Files.

Set Up Your Printer

Step 1: Connect the Power Supply

Connect the power adapter to the printer and plug it into a power outlet.

Step 2: Connect a USB Cable

Connect a USB cable from the printer to your computer.

Step 3: Load Media

Open the printer cover. Place the media roll on the holder. Push the media under the guides. Align the media sensor near the center (default setting).

Step 4: Load Ribbon

Open the printer cover. Place the ribbon roll on the supply spindle. Insert the ribbon take-up core. Pull the ribbon leader and attach it to the take-up core. Wind forward to tension the ribbon.

Step 5: Power On and Print

Press and release the [Power Button]. The status lights will cycle during startup. The printer is ready when the [Status Light] is steady green.

Perform Media Calibration

Press and hold the [FEED Button] until the [Status Light] blinks off and on TWICE, then release. This calibrates the printer to the media.

Test Print Configuration Report

Press and hold the [FEED Button] until the [Status Light] blinks off and on ONCE, then release. This prints a configuration report.
