Quick Start and Setup Guide

1. Install Software

Download and install Zebra Setup Utilities. This package includes Windows Printer Driver Files.

Visit www.zebra.com/setup to download and install the software.

2. Set Up Your Printer

Connect Power and USB

Connect the Power Supply to the printer and a power outlet.
Connect a USB cable from your computer to the printer.

3. Load Media

Open the printer cover and place the media roll on the holder.
Push the paper under the media guides.
Align the sensor near the center of the media path (this is the default position).

4. Load Ribbon

Insert the Ribbon Take-Up Core.
Insert the Ribbon Supply roll.
Pull the ribbon leader and attach it to the take-up core. Wind forward to remove slack.

5. Power On and Print

Power On

Press and release the Power Button. The printer's lights will cycle during initialization.

Printer Ready Status

The printer is ready to operate when the Status Light is a steady Green.

Perform Media Calibration

To calibrate the media, press and hold the FEED button until the Status Light blinks off and on TWICE, then release the button.

Test Print Configuration Report

To print a configuration report, press and hold the FEED button until the Status Light blinks off and on ONCE, then release the button.
