Installation Instructions
-
Be sure to read these instructions thoroughly before opening and installing the Yamaha Rhino Lexan Windshield.
-
Check over the parts included in the cartons with the parts list shown below:
Part Description Quantity 1 3/4" Loom Clamps 6 each 1" Stainless Steels Bolts 6 each Stainless Steel Washers 6 each Thumb Nuts 6 each 54" Rubber Gasket 1 each Lexan Windshield 1 each -
Start by removing the windshield from the box. Find a clean area to lay it down and prepare for hardware installation. Begin by peeling off the protective film. Next, take the 54" piece of rubber gasket and, starting at one end, firmly place it along the entire bottom edge of the Windshield.
-
Now the Windshield is ready to be installed. With the help of a friend, place the Windshield on the Yamaha Rhino, positioning it onto the hood.
-
Align the windshield with the roll cage. Wrap a clamp around the roll cage and insert a bolt through both holes from the inside out. Place a washer on the bolt before passing it through the windshield. Then, place another washer over the bolt on the outside of the windshield. Finally, screw the thumb nut onto the bolt and tighten. A Phillips screwdriver may be needed to hold the bolt steady while tightening the thumb nut.
-
Now you are ready to take it out and enjoy.
Care Instructions
To clean the windshield, always use a liquid cleaner to decrease the chance of scratches. Microfiber cloths, readily available at most stores, are recommended. Any window cleaner will work fine; just remember to use a soft, clean rag or microfiber cloth for cleaning.
