Soft Doors Installation
- Clean the roll cage and plastic surrounding the doors. Using rubbing alcohol is preferable for optimal Velcro adhesion.

- Place the 5" strip in the corner, followed by the 22" strip. (Image shows corner placement.)
- Place another 5" strip in the rear corner. (Image shows rear corner placement.)
- Place the 31" strip down the back of the cage. (Image shows placement down the rear of the cage.)
- Move to the front bottom edge of the door frame. Install the 30" adhesive 1" wide Velcro strip. At the bottom, place the 3" strip perpendicular to the frame. (Images show bottom edge and perpendicular strip placement.)
- After all Velcro is in place, attach the door to the vehicle. The following images show the installed door. (Images show the installed door from different angles.)
- Install the snap studs into the plastic for the bottom rear portion of the door. It is best to first insert the screw studs into the snap sockets on the door. Then, align the door with the vehicle, push the screw stud into the plastic to leave a mark, remove the stud from the door, and install it at the marked location. (Images show snap stud installation on the door and the vehicle's plastic panel.)
Rear Window Installation
- Clean the roll cage surrounding the rear window. Rubbing alcohol is recommended for proper Velcro adhesion.
- Install the Rear Window by attaching the two 50" long 1" wide adhesive Velcro strips across the top and bottom of the Rear Window frame. Then, attach the two 24" adhesive Velcro strips down the sides. Once all Velcro is in place, attach the Rear Window to the frame. (Images show the rear window being attached with Velcro strips.)
Top Cap Installation
The Aero-Vent Polycarbonate Windshield installation instructions are included separately with the windshield.
Top Cap Securing
- The package includes two webbing straps with a loop sewn on one end, used to secure the rear of the Top Cap.
- Raise the bed of the Ranger. Run the looped end of one strap around the roll cage just under the top of the side safety bar, between the plastic and the frame. Pull the other end of the strap through the loop and tighten. (Image shows strap routed around the roll cage.)
- Pull the strap up and run it through the buckles sewn into the rear corners of the Top Cap. (Image shows strap threaded through a buckle.)
- Move to the front of the vehicle and raise the hood. Run the looped end of another strap around the frame just below the hood line. Pull the other end through the loop and tighten. (Image shows strap routed around the front frame.)
- Thread the other end of the strap through the buckle in the front corner of the Top Cap, similar to the rear. Ensure the Top Cap is centered and pulled tight.
- Your enclosure installation is now complete. With proper care, your cab should provide years of service.
Cleaning and Storage Recommendations
- Before storing the Falcon Ridge Cab, ensure it is clean to prevent scratching the window panels. Clean using a soft rag or sponge with a mild liquid detergent soap and warm water solution. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth or rag. Allow the Cab to dry thoroughly before rolling for storage.
- It is important to roll the Cab for storage rather than folding, as folding can damage the windows. Carefully roll the Cab similarly to how it was packed at the factory. On a large, clean, flat surface, fold the doors over the rear panel first, then interleave the top and windshield on top of the doors. Begin rolling the Cab into a roll approximately 8 inches in diameter. Store the rolled Cab in its carton at normal room temperature, avoiding extreme hot or cold temperatures.
- A special cleaner conditioner is available from Falcon Ridge to extend the service life of the Cab Enclosure. Additional hook and loop sets can also be ordered if needed.
