Setup Guide

Step 1: Plug in USB Power Cable

Connect the Micro-USB end of the power cable to the DUALSTREAM transmitter. Plug the USB-A end into an AC adapter, a TV's USB port, or a computer's USB port to provide power.

Diagram shows the Micro-USB port on the DUALSTREAM unit and the USB-A connector being plugged into a power source.

Step 2: Power On Transmitter

Slide the power switch on the DUALSTREAM transmitter to the 'ON' position.

Illustration shows the power switch being moved from 'OFF' to 'ON'.

Step 3: Pair a Bluetooth Headphone or Speaker

Put your headphone or speaker into pairing mode (consult its user manual if unsure).

Tap pairing button "A" on the DUALSTREAM transmitter. The blue indicator light will begin blinking.

Diagram shows the DUALSTREAM unit with pairing button "A" and an arrow indicating to tap it. Another diagram shows the unit with a blinking light labeled "PAIRING: LIGHT BLINKS".

Once the DUALSTREAM and your device are both in pairing mode simultaneously and within 3 feet (1 meter) of each other, they will be paired. The blue indicator light on the DUALSTREAM will turn solid.

Diagram shows the DUALSTREAM unit with a solid blue light labeled "CONNECTED: SOLID LIGHT". An icon depicts the transmitter and a headphone/speaker in close proximity.

*Consult the user manual of your device if you are not sure how to put it in pairing mode.

Note: Sound may be quiet or intermittent while pairing is in progress.

Step 4: Pair a 2nd Headphone or Speaker (Optional)

A second Bluetooth audio device can be paired after one is already connected.

To pair the second device, put it in pairing mode (consult its user manual if unsure), then tap pairing button "B" on the DUALSTREAM transmitter.

Diagram shows the DUALSTREAM unit with pairing button "B" and an arrow indicating to tap it.

Once the DUALSTREAM and your second device are both in pairing mode simultaneously and within 3 feet (1 meter) of each other, they will be paired. The blue indicator lights will show the connection status.

Diagrams show the pairing process similar to Step 3, indicating pairing and connection status.

*Consult the user manual of your device if you are not sure how to put it in pairing mode.

Note: Sound may be quiet or intermittent while pairing is in progress.

Step 5: Choose an Audio Cable Supported by Your TV

Using RCA Connection

Connect the 3.5mm end of the stereo cable to the DUALSTREAM transmitter. Connect the other end of the stereo cable to the 3.5mm to RCA adapter. Plug the RCA connectors (red and white) into your TV's red and white 'AUDIO OUT' jacks.

Diagram shows the DUALSTREAM connected to the RCA adapter, which is then plugged into the TV's 'AUDIO OUT' ports (labeled R and L).

If TV audio plays through your headphones, the setup is complete. Proceed to Step 6 (Subsequent Use).

Using 3.5mm Headphone Jack Connection

Connect the 3.5mm stereo cable to the DUALSTREAM transmitter and plug the other end into your TV's headphone jack.

Diagram shows the DUALSTREAM connected directly to the TV's headphone jack. A note indicates the headphone jack may be located on the front, side, or rear of the TV.

Maximize the volume on your TV.

Illustration shows a TV screen with a volume slider indicating maximum volume.

No Sound? Check TV Settings Menu

Exact menu and item names may vary between TVs.

  • Select "Variable" in the audio output settings menu of your TV.
  • Set TV's internal speakers to "OFF".

Screenshots of TV settings menus are shown, illustrating options for audio output and TV speakers.

Once sound is confirmed, proceed to Step 6 (Subsequent Use).

Usage

Adjusting Headphone Volume

Volume can be individually adjusted on each headphone or speaker paired with the DUALSTREAM. Use the volume controls on your headphones or speakers.

Diagram shows a pair of headphones with volume up (VOL +) and volume down (VOL -) buttons, along with play/pause and power controls.

Subsequent Use

To reconnect a previously paired headphone or speaker:

  1. Power on the DUALSTREAM transmitter (if it was powered off).
  2. Power on your headphone or speaker.

A solid blue light on the DUALSTREAM will indicate that a connection has been established. It may take up to 60 seconds for audio transmission to begin.

When finished, power off headphones until next use.

Factory Reset / Clear Memory

To perform a factory reset of the DUALSTREAM, hold pairing button "A" for approximately 5 seconds until the blue indicator light stops blinking. All previously paired devices will be cleared from memory, and a new pairing will need to be created by following the procedure in Step 3.

Safety and Care

Do not use while driving a car, cycling, operating machinery, or performing other activities that require hearing surrounding sounds.
