Getting Started

Charge for 2 hours. The indicator light will turn blue once fully charged.

To power on the KidJamz, press and hold the multifunction button [▶️] until the light flashes red and blue, indicating pairing mode. If needed, press and hold the [+] and [-] buttons for 5 seconds to manually enter pairing mode.

Connect your device by selecting "MEE audio KidJamz" from your device's Bluetooth menu.

Multipoint Connectivity

To play audio from your phone or tablet to two or more KidJamz Share headphones simultaneously, first start streaming audio to one headphone as described in the "Getting Started" section. Then, press and hold the EQ/Sharing Mode button [EQ] on each KidJamz Share headphone until you hear the voice prompt "Sharing Mode". Linking may take up to 30 seconds to complete.

Using the Volume Limiter

KidJamz headphones offer two volume options: volume-limited (85dB) mode for safe listening, and unlimited (travel) mode for noisy environments.

To disable and re-enable the volume limiter, press the [?], [+], and [-] buttons simultaneously.

Note: Using headphones at higher volume levels for extended periods can lead to listening fatigue and hearing damage. Children should take 10-minute breaks every hour of listening in travel mode and switch back to the volume-limited mode when possible.

About Our Volume-Limiting Technology

Regular headphones can easily exceed safe listening volumes, potentially causing permanent hearing damage with lengthy or repeated exposure. KidJamz headphones utilize an integrated volume limiter to maintain the sound pressure level (SPL) near 85dB, protecting young ears and helping to create good lifelong listening habits.

Note: It is important for parents and guardians to periodically check children's use of these headphones to ensure they are being used in a safe and responsible manner.

Safe Listening Volume: For all ages, the recommended safe listening volume is 85 dB. Listening at 96 dB is safe for up to 30 minutes, and at 107 dB for up to 1 minute.

LED Light Modes

• Function: Cycle through different light colors and patterns. Operation: Single press of the LED light mode button [?].
• Function: Turn off lights. Operation: Press and hold the LED light mode button [?] for 2 seconds.

MEE audio Modes (EQ)

• Function: Cycle through different sound modes. Operation: Single press of the EQ / Sharing Mode button [EQ].
• Audio modes available: Balanced / Bass Boost / Vocal Boost / Dynamic.

Troubleshooting

Factory Reset

Press and hold the [+] and [▶️] buttons for 5 seconds. All previously paired devices will be cleared from memory, and a new pairing will need to be created.

Safety and Care

• Clean with a soft cloth, slightly damp with diluted soap water solution if necessary. Do not use chemical cleaners.
• The battery's lifetime will be significantly reduced if the device is not charged for a long time. It is recommended to charge your device at least once a month.
• Do not expose to liquids. If the device comes in contact with liquids, wipe it away quickly. If submerged in water, do not power the device on until completely dried. Liquid submersion voids the warranty.
