Important Safety Information: Preventing Furniture Tip-Over

⚠️ WARNING: Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tip-over.

To prevent this furniture from tipping over, it must be permanently fixed to the wall using the wall attachment fittings included in the packaging. If the product is to be hung on the wall, it must be done with the designated suspension rail (sold separately at IKEA).

Assess the wall to ensure that it will withstand the weight. As wall materials vary, screws for wall fixation are not included. For advice on suitable screw systems for your wall, contact your local specialized dealer.

Wall fixing/hanging must be carried out by a qualified person, since wrong fixation may cause injury or damage.

Tools required (not included): Screwdriver, Spirit Level, Drill with Ø 8 mm (5/16") drill bit.

Assembly Steps

1. Assemble Cabinet Frame

Insert 8x Cam Locks (108444) into the large holes on the inner faces of the two Side Panels, Top Panel, and Bottom Panel. Insert 8x Cam Lock Screws (10093081) into the smaller holes on the edges of the Top and Bottom Panels.

Connect the Side Panels to the Bottom Panel. Align the Cam Lock Screws on the Bottom Panel with the Cam Locks on the Side Panels. Tighten the Cam Locks by turning them clockwise [clockwise-arrow symbol]. Repeat this process to attach the Top Panel to the Side Panels.

2. Attach Back Panel

Slide the Back Panel into the grooves located on the rear edges of the assembled frame.

3. Complete Frame Assembly

Attach the remaining Side Panel to the Top and Bottom Panels, securing it with the Cam Locks.

4. Install Shelves

Insert 4x Shelf Supports into the desired pre-drilled holes on the inside faces of the Side Panels. Place the shelves onto the supports.

5. Prepare Door Hinges

Attach the 2x Hinges to the Door using the provided screws (e.g., 1x Screw 141413, 2x Screws 152651 for hinges, and 2x Screws 152650 for the door front fitting).

6. Attach Door to Cabinet

Connect the hinges on the door to the mounting points on the cabinet frame. The diagram shows a "Click!" sound indicating secure attachment.

7. Attach Wall Mounting Bracket to Cabinet

Attach the Wall Mounting Bracket to the top rear edge of the cabinet using 2x Screws (10093082).

8. Attach Furniture Feet

Screw the 4x Furniture Feet into the threaded holes on the underside of the Bottom Panel.

9. Wall Mounting Preparation

Crucial Step for Safety: Drill holes in the wall at the desired height for the Wall Mounting Bracket. Ensure you use appropriate wall anchors and screws (not included) suitable for your wall type. Consult a professional if unsure. The diagram shows drilling into the wall and attaching the bracket.

10. Secure Cabinet to Wall

Lift the cabinet and hook the Wall Mounting Bracket onto the corresponding wall fixture. The diagram shows the cabinet being secured to the wall.

11. Install Drawer Runners

Attach the Left Drawer Runner (139467) and Right Drawer Runner (139468) to the inside of the cabinet using the provided screws. Attach the Drawer Runner Brackets (155197, 155198) to the runners.

12. Assemble Drawer Box

Assemble the drawer box using the drawer panels and fittings. Attach the Drawer Slides (10119600, 10119658) to the drawer sides using the Drawer Slide Brackets (10119673, 131372).

13. Insert Drawer

Slide the assembled drawer into the cabinet, aligning the drawer slides with the runners.

14. Attach Hinges to Door (Detail)

Attach the hinges to the door using the appropriate screws.

15. Attach Door to Cabinet

Connect the hinges on the door to the mounting points on the cabinet frame. The diagram shows a "Click!" sound indicating secure attachment.

16. Install Second Door

Repeat steps 14 and 15 for the second door.

17. Install Additional Shelf Supports

Insert additional shelf supports into the cabinet for adjustable shelving, if applicable.

18. Place Shelves (Detail)

Place the adjustable shelves onto the installed shelf supports.

19. Attach Door Handle

Attach the door handle or knob to the door using the provided screw.

20. Attach Door to Cabinet (Detail)

Attach the door to the cabinet frame using the hinges and screws.

21. Attach Second Door

Attach the second door to the cabinet.

22. Attach Second Door to Cabinet

Connect the second door to the cabinet frame using the hinges.

23. Adjust Doors

Adjust the doors using the hinge adjustment screws to ensure they are level and close properly. The diagram shows arrows indicating adjustment directions.

24. Final Check

Ensure all components are securely fastened and the unit is stable and properly anchored to the wall. The diagram shows the final assembled product.
