EKET Assembly Instructions
IKEA of Sweden
Important Safety Information
⚠️ WARNING: Furniture tip-over can cause serious or fatal crushing injuries.
To prevent this furniture from tipping over, it must be permanently fixed to the wall using the wall attachment fittings included in the packaging. If the product is to be hung on the wall, it must be done with the designated suspension rail (sold separately at IKEA).
Assess the wall to ensure that it will withstand the weight. As wall materials vary, screws for wall fixation are not included. For advice on suitable screw systems for your wall, contact your local specialised dealer. Wall fixing/hanging must be carried out by a qualified person, since wrong fixation may cause injury or damage.
This warning is provided in multiple languages to ensure understanding.

Wall Mounting Instructions
Crucial Step: Secure the assembled EKET unit to the wall using the provided wall attachment fittings. Follow these general guidelines:
- Assess your wall: Ensure the wall material is suitable and can support the weight of the cabinet and its contents.
- Use appropriate screws: Since wall materials vary (e.g., drywall, plaster, concrete, wood), screws for wall fixation are NOT included. Consult your local hardware store or a specialist for the correct screws and wall plugs for your specific wall type.
- Qualified Installation: Wall fixing must be performed by a qualified person to prevent injury or damage due to incorrect installation.
- Suspension Rail: If hanging the unit on a wall, use the designated suspension rail (sold separately at IKEA).
The diagrams illustrate the process of attaching the unit to the wall using the provided brackets and potentially a suspension rail.
