Safety First: Preventing Tip-Over Accidents

WARNING! Furniture tip-over can cause serious or fatal crushing injuries. To prevent tip-over, this furniture MUST be used with the wall attachment device(s) provided. Screws and wall plugs are NOT included. Use screws and plugs suitable for your walls. If you are uncertain, seek professional advice. Read and follow each step of the instructions carefully.

Assembly Instructions

Step 1

Insert one wooden dowel (101339) into the pre-drilled hole on the edge of a side panel.

Step 2

Screw two bolts (106940) into the corresponding holes on the same side panel.

Step 3

Insert two cam lock fittings (103430) into the larger holes on the base panel. Ensure the arrow on the fitting points towards the edge hole.

Step 4

Connect the base panel to the side panel by aligning the dowel and bolts with the holes on the base panel.

Step 5

Secure the connection by inserting the cam locks (103430) into the holes on the side panel and turning them clockwise with a screwdriver until they lock onto the bolts.

Step 6

Insert five wooden dowels (101345) into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of the middle divider panel.

Step 7

Attach the wall bracket (106989) to the top panel. Use one screw (109041) and one screw (100823) to secure it.

Step 8

Screw two bolts (100481) into the pre-drilled holes on the top panel.

Step 9

Insert four wooden dowels (101345) into the remaining holes on the top panel.

Step 10

Position the middle divider panel into the base unit, aligning the dowels with the corresponding holes.

Step 11

Secure the middle divider by inserting two cam lock fittings (119252) into the side panels and turning the cam locks (103430) clockwise.

Step 12

Attach the second side panel to the base and the middle divider, aligning all dowels and bolts.

Step 13

Secure the second side panel by inserting four screws (100229) and tightening them with the Allen key (100006).

Step 14

Slide the back panel into the grooves on the rear of the unit.

Step 15

Secure the back panel by inserting four screws (100229) into the designated holes.

Step 16

Insert one dowel (105494) into the top panel. Then, attach the top panel to the assembled unit by aligning the dowels and securing it with fourteen screws (101221).

Step 17

Cover the visible screw heads with six cover caps (122628).

Step 18: Wall Attachment (Crucial Safety Step)

Attach the wall bracket (106989) to the top rear of the unit using one screw (100823). Crucially, secure the unit to the wall using appropriate wall fixings (not included) suitable for your wall type. This prevents the furniture from tipping over.
