The lock assembly includes:

Installation Steps
Follow these steps for proper installation:
- Marking and Drilling: Draw lines on the door using the template. The suggested distance between the handle and the floor is 1m - 1.2m. Drill holes as required.
- Latch Direction Adjustment: Disassemble the mortise faceplate, rotate the latch bolt 180°, and reinstall the faceplate.
- Mortise Installation: Insert the mortise into the door and secure it with 4 pcs of M5*10 crosshead screws (or ST4.2*25 self-tapping screws for wooden doors).
- Transmission Rod Installation: Install the transmission rod on the front panel, ensuring it aligns correctly. Adjust the rod to the position shown in the diagram.
- Threaded Sleeve Installation: Install 5 threaded sleeves onto the front panel.
- Front Panel Attachment: Pass the cables through the top hole, ensuring the transmission rod goes through the mortise. Secure the front panel to the mounting plate using two screws.
- Back Panel Attachment: Use three screws to fix the back panel to the front panel. Insert rubber plugs into the back panel and the back side of the handle.
- Battery Installation and Testing: Install 8 AA alkaline batteries. Cover the battery compartment and check the lock's operation.
- System Reset: After installation, reset the lock to match the front and back panels by pressing and holding the reset button for 3 seconds with a paper clip.
Instructions
Emergency Power Supply
If the battery voltage is too low to open the lock from the outside, connect a 5V power supply via the USB Type-C port on the front panel. Unlock the door and replace all batteries immediately.
Restore Default Settings
To restore factory default settings, remove the upper cover and take out the Bluetooth module. Use a paper clip to press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds. This will delete all user data and settings.
Keyboard Operation Instructions
The keypad allows for PIN code entry, confirmation, and access to various functions using specific keys.
Indicator Meaning:
- Lock Status Indicator: Green flashes for successful verification, red flashes for failed verification.
- Low Battery Status Indicator: Flashes red with voice prompts when the battery is low (in non-mute mode).
- System Locked Status Indicator: Lock suspends for 90 seconds with an alarm and a red indicator if the wrong user ID is entered 5 times within 5 minutes.
- Mute Mode Indicator: Green light indicates mute mode is on/off (double-click '*' key).
- Privacy Mode Indicator: Red light when the system is awakened after privacy mode is enabled. Press '#' to unlock with administrator credentials only.
- Restore Factory Settings Indicator: Green light indicates system data has been cleared.
- Face Recognition Indicator: Blue light after pressing the Face ID button on the front panel.
Locking/Unlocking the Door:
- Locking: The door locks automatically after closing (Auto Lock). There is no manual lock function.
- Unlocking from Outside:
- Face ID: Wake the lock by touching the keypad, then press the Face ID button. If automatic Face ID is enabled, stand 30-50 cm away.
- Fingerprint: Place an enrolled fingerprint on the sensor.
- Key Card: Wake the lock, then tap the enrolled key card on the reader.
- PIN Code: Wake the lock, input a 6-8 digit PIN, and press '#' to confirm.
- Locking/Unlocking from Inside:
- Short press the (OPEN/CLOSE) button on the back panel to unlock.
- Long press the (OPEN/CLOSE) button for 3 seconds to lock and enable privacy mode.
- Use the manual knob on the back panel for emergency locking/unlocking.
How to Change Batteries:
Remove the battery cover, replace the old batteries with new ones, and cover it again.
Operating Process
Demo Mode:
In demo mode, any fingerprint, key card, or password can unlock the door. A green light indicates success, and a red light indicates failure.
First Setting (Register Administrator):
The default administrator ID is 01. Follow the prompts to register the administrator's fingerprint, password, and optionally, key card and face recognition.
Face Recognition Function:
- Requires 8 batteries.
- Ensure no one is behind you during registration.
- Face ID consumes more power.
- Applicable Height: 1.4m - 2m.
- Registration Method: 3D Capturing.
- Recognition Distance: 0.3m - 1m.
- Recognition Speed: < 1.3s.
- Recognition Angles: Pitch: 30°, Rotation: 30°, Yaw: 30°.
- User Capacity: 99.
- Follow voice prompts for registration. Block excess light with your hand if necessary.
Change Administrator Data:
The default administrator ID is 01. Follow the on-screen prompts to change administrator data.
Registered User:
Up to 98 sets of user data (face, fingerprints, cards, passwords) can be added. Press '#' to skip registration steps.
Delete Registered User:
Inputting '01' will result in a deletion failure. If the battery is low, Face ID function will turn off, and face information cannot be deleted.
Date and Time Settings:
Input date in YYYY-MM-DD format and time in 24-hour HH-MM format.
Volume Setting:
Choose from minimum, low, medium, or high volume levels.
Restore Factory Default Setting:
This procedure deletes all user data and settings. Follow the prompts to reset the lock.
Fingerprint Trial:
By default, this function is enabled. The lock suspends for 90 seconds after 5 incorrect fingerprint entries within 5 minutes. Disabling this function removes the suspension.
Child Lock Setting:
In child lock mode, press the "OPEN/CLOSE" button twice within 1 second to open the door.
Automatic Face ID Function:
This function is disabled by default. When enabled, the Face ID activates automatically when someone approaches within 40-50 cm. Enabling this function may reduce battery life due to frequent activations.
Query Lock ID Number:
Access lock information such as ID number, date and time, and software version.
Featured Operations
Type of User ID:
- Administrator (01): Can open the door and manage lock data. Has the highest authority.
- Common User (02-99): Can only open the door.
Key Function:
- '*' is the Esc/Return key, '#' is the Enter key.
- Double-click '#' to enter setting mode.
- Double-click '*' to enter/exit mute mode.
- '$☎' (Bell Button): Doorbell function.
- '$□$' (Square Button): Face recognition activation.
Privacy Mode:
Long press the (OPEN/CLOSE) button inside the door to enable. Press '#' to authenticate with administrator credentials. Common users cannot unlock the door in this mode.
System Reset Function:
Press and hold the reset button on the back panel for at least 3 seconds with a paper clip to restore factory defaults. This erases all user data and settings.
Random Security Coding Function:
Add any numbers before or after the real PIN code (max 18 digits) to prevent exposure of the actual PIN.
Emergency Power Supply:
Connect a 5V power supply via USB Type-C if the batteries are too low to open the lock from the outside. Unlock the door and replace batteries immediately.
Low Power Alarm:
An audible alarm sounds after each opening when voltage drops below 4.8V. Replace all batteries promptly.
Burglar Alarm:
The lock sounds an alarm if a break-in is attempted. Touch the keypad and authenticate with an authorized ID to turn off the alarm.
Prevent Mischief and Hacking:
The lock suspends operation for 90 seconds with an alarm after 5 incorrect user ID entries within 5 minutes.
System Reboot Function:
Use a Type-C USB cable to connect to a portable power bank if the lock system is unresponsive.
Front and Back Panels Do Not Match:
Press the reset button for 3 seconds to reset and match the front panel communication. The system will prompt to press the reset button to delete data and match the panels.
Caution

- Do not expose the product or accessories to rain or water.
- Avoid exposure to corrosive substances.
- Do not scrape the fingerprint sensor with sharp objects.
- Clean the product with a soft cloth.
- Replace batteries promptly when a low battery alert is received, ensuring correct installation.
