01 About the WiFi AI Camera
This section details the physical components and core features of the WiFi AI Camera.
Camera Components:
- 1. DC Power Port: Power Input 12V 1A.
- 2. Reset Button: Resets the camera to factory defaults and enters WiFi searching mode.
- 3. RJ45 Port: For connecting an Ethernet cable to the router.
- 4. Speaker: Supports two-way talk, alert voice playback, alarm sound, or broadcast.
- 5. Microphone: For picking up audio. (Note: The position of the microphone may differ in various models.)
AI Features: This WiFi camera is an AI camera with a floodlight that activates at night after humanoid detection. Humanoid detection uses AI technology to identify human motion, offering greater accuracy than standard motion sensors and reducing false alarms caused by pets or moving branches.
Audio Alerts: The camera is equipped with a speaker for two-way talk and alert voice playback. When human presence is detected or an alarm is triggered, it can play pre-recorded voice messages such as "Alert area, please leave," "Hello, welcome!" or an alarm sound, if this feature is enabled (it is off by default).
TF Card Slot
To insert or remove the TF card, take off the two screws on the speaker cover to access the TF card slot.
02 View on Smart Phones
This section guides you through connecting and viewing your camera feed using a smartphone.
1. Download and Install the iCsee App
Scan the provided QR code (represented by a square matrix of black and white modules) to download the "iCsee" app, or search for "iCsee" in the App Store or Google Play. During installation, grant all necessary authorizations to ensure full functionality and timely alarm notifications.
2. Add the AI Camera to WiFi
After installing the app on your smartphone, register an account and proceed to add your WiFi AI camera.
2.1 Smart WiFi Setup
Power on the camera using the power adapter. The camera's white indicator lights will illuminate briefly, indicating it is in WiFi and initialization mode, ready for connection. You can also press the reset button to initiate the initialization mode and program the WiFi connection.
Connection Requirements: Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same WiFi network as the WiFi Smart camera. Keep the camera and smartphone within 10 feet of the router during setup.
Setup Steps:
- Click the "+" icon in the upper right corner.
- Select "Setup My Device to WiFi".
- Follow the on-screen prompts and voice instructions.
Upon successful WiFi setup, you will hear a voice prompt, and the camera will proceed to the "Set Password" page. After setting a password, you can name the device and begin using video surveillance.
2.2 Wired Ethernet Cable to Setup WiFi
If WiFi connection is unsuccessful, use a wired Ethernet cable. Connect the camera to your router using the Ethernet cable. Ensure your smartphone is connected to the router's WiFi. Click the "+" icon, select "More", and then choose "Add device in the same WLAN". Select your camera from the list and return to the video image page.
3. Using the App
Once the camera is added to the app, follow these steps for settings and control:
Control the Camera:
Click the camera's video image to perform snapshots, engage in two-way intercom, and playback recorded video from the TF card. Click the record icon (represented by a circular symbol) to record video clips; the duration will be displayed.
Saved snapshots and video clips can be found in your phone's "Mobile Storage" folder.
Settings:
Within the settings menu, you can perform basic configurations such as naming the device and selecting the language. You can also change the password, configure alarm settings, enable/disable alarm push notifications, and check storage and network settings.
04 Unique Features
Alarm Voice Alert
During a motion alarm, you can configure the camera's actions. It can take a snapshot, record a video, and simultaneously beep or play a voice prompt. Select "Bell Alarm" to choose the desired voice prompt, such as "Alert area, please leave," "Hello, welcome!" or "Howling Alarm." This feature is disabled by default; remember to save changes.
Flood Light
On the live video feed, click the light bulb icon [?] to access IR light settings. The camera offers three modes for its IR and white lights:
- White Light Mode: The white light remains on continuously at night.
- Normal: Only the IR light is active at night; the white light is off day and night.
- Double Light Mode: The IR light is on at night, and the white light activates upon human detection. This is the default mode.
AI Smart Features
Within the Motion Alarm settings, you can find "Intelligent Vigilance," which includes smart AI functions:
- Humanoid Detection: This AI-powered feature accurately detects human motion, distinguishing it from general motion and reducing false alarms from pets or environmental factors.
- Show Traces: When enabled, a trace frame appears around moving individuals in the live video, following their movement.
- Perimeter Alert: This feature allows you to define security zones. You can set up a "cordon" line and receive alerts when people cross it, with options for alert direction. Alternatively, you can draw custom "alert areas" to monitor specific zones within the live video feed.
03 View on PC via IE
To view your camera on a PC using Internet Explorer:
- Download the DeviceManage software from http://techage.com/download.php and install it.
- Ensure your IP camera and PC are on the same Local Area Network (LAN).
- Open the DeviceManage software to search for your IP camera.
- Click on the camera and then click "WebBrowse". This will open the camera feed in your browser.
- You may need to allow the ActiveX control. If you encounter issues, search for "How to install the activeX control?" on the Techage website (www.techage.com/knowledge.php).
04 View on PC Software
This section covers using dedicated PC software for viewing.
Using VMS Software:
- Download the VMS software from http://techage.com/download.php.
- After opening the VMS software, click "Login" directly. No password is required by default; leave the field blank.
- Navigate to Device Manager > IP4 search. Find your NVR (or camera) and select it. Click "Add".
- Click the edit icon [✎] to modify device details or update the password if it has been changed.
- Return to the Home page and click "Live View". Double-click your device's IP address to view the camera feed within the VMS.
05 View on Third Part Video Software
This WiFi AI Camera supports ONVIF protocol and RTSP monitoring, making it compatible with various third-party video monitoring software that utilize RTSP and ONVIF.
1. View on VLC Media Player:
Open VLC media player. Go to Media >> Open Network Stream. Enter the RTSP network URL of the camera in the WLAN. An example RTSP URL format is provided: rtsp://192.168.0.109:554/user=admin&password=&channel=1&stream=0.sdp
. In this URL, "192.168.0.109" is the camera's IP address (configurable via DeviceManage software), "user=admin" is the default username, and "password=" indicates no password by default.
2. View on Blue Iris:
- Open your Blue Iris 5 software.
- Click the menu and select "Add new camera".
- Configure the camera settings, including enabling audio if applicable.
- Click "Find/inspect" to locate the IP camera, select it, and click "OK".
- Click "Close", then click "OK" to add the camera.
3. View on iSpy:
- Open your iSpy software and click "Add", then choose "ONVIF Camera".
- Input your camera's "Username" and "Password", select the IP address, and click "Next".
- Choose your camera's RTSP (Main Stream) and click "OK".
- In the Camera option, name the IP Camera, input its IP address, username, and password, then click "Finish". If it's an audio camera, click the "listen" icon [?] to start listening.
