Camera Overview

The camera features the following connection ports:

  • 1. DC Power Port: For 12V 1A power input.
  • 2. RJ45 Port: Connects via Ethernet cable for video transmission and can receive 48V DC Power Supply from an NVR or PoE Switch.
  • 3. Speaker: Supports two-way talk, alert voice playback, and alarm sounds.
  • 4. Microphone: Captures audio; its position may vary by model.

This AI Onvif-compliant camera integrates with third-party Onvif NVRs. It includes a floodlight that activates at night upon detecting human presence. The two-way talk and alert features, using the built-in speaker, can play custom voice prompts like "Alert area, please leave" or "Hello, welcome!" when human detection or an alarm event occurs. This feature is disabled by default.

Tips: Explore advanced features in Chapter 02, Section 2.4.

Connecting Your Camera

Power on the camera and connect it to your network using an Ethernet cable. Two primary methods are available:

1.1 Using a PoE Switch

Connect the camera to a PoE-enabled switch. A blinking LED indicates a successful connection.

1.2 Using a Power Adapter

Connect the camera to a power adapter. A blinking LED signifies a successful connection.

Once powered and connected via Ethernet, follow Chapter 02 to view the camera feed on your smartphone. After confirming functionality, select the optimal installation location and complete the wiring.

Viewing on Smart Phones

Tips: For outdoor installations, ensure the waterproof lid is correctly attached as per the provided diagram.

TF Card and Reset Button

Access the TF card slot and reset button by removing the speaker cover. The reset button can restore the camera to factory default settings if you forget your password.

1. Download and Install the iCSee App

Obtain the "iCSee" app by scanning the QR code or searching for it on the App Store or Google Play. Grant all necessary permissions during installation for full functionality and timely alarm notifications.

2. Add the PoE Camera to the iCSee App

After installing the app, register an account and add your PoE camera. Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the camera.

Tap the "+" icon in the top-right corner, select "More," then "Add device in the same WLAN." Choose your camera from the displayed list.

The app offers options like "Set Up My Device To Wi-Fi," "Add My Device (AP mode)," "Add Shared Device," and "Add Device In The Same WLAN." For AP mode, press the reset button three times to enter direct mode, usually confirmed by a voice prompt.

3. Using the App

After adding the camera, follow these steps for configuration and control:

Control the Camera

Tap the live video feed to perform actions such as taking snapshots, engaging in two-way intercom, and playing back recorded footage from the TF card. Use the record icon [▶️] to capture video clips; the recording duration will be displayed.

Snapshots and video clips are saved in your phone's "Mobile Storage."

Settings

The settings menu allows for basic configurations like renaming the device and changing the language. You can also manage passwords, configure alarm settings (including enabling/disabling push notifications), and check storage and network parameters.

Available settings include Basic Setting, Password Management, Motion Alarm, Storage Management, Cloud Service, Advanced Setting, Network Settings, and General About Device. Alarm settings cover motion detection, alarm intervals, actions (snapshot, video, device beep), time, sensitivity, and push notifications.

4. Unique Features

Alarm Voice Alert

Configure alarm actions within motion alarm settings. The camera can capture a snapshot, record video, and simultaneously beep or play a voice prompt. Select desired voice prompts like "Alert area, please leave," "Hello, welcome!" or "Howling Alarm" via "Bell Alarm." This feature is off by default; remember to save any changes.

Flood Light

Access IR light settings by tapping the [?] icon on the live video. The camera supports three lighting modes:

  • White Light Mode: White light remains on throughout the night.
  • Normal Mode: Only IR light is active at night; white light is off both day and night.
  • Double Light Mode: IR light is on at night, and the white light activates upon human detection. This is the default mode.

AI Smart Features

Within Motion Alarm, find "Intelligent Vigilance" for AI functions like "Humanoid Detection," "Show Traces," and "Perimeter Alert."

  • Humanoid Detection: Employs AI for more accurate human motion detection, minimizing false alarms from pets or foliage.
  • Show Traces: When active, a tracking frame follows detected individuals in the live video.
  • Perimeter Alert: Includes "Cordon" and "Alert Area" settings. "Cordon" allows defining a virtual line; crossing it triggers an alarm, with options for alert direction. "Alert Area" lets you designate specific zones for monitoring and alerts.
