Soundcore App Integration
Enhance your audio experience with the soundcore app. Download it from your mobile app store to access features such as:
- Ambient Sound modes
- Adaptive noise control
- HearID Sound personalization

Wearing and Fit
For optimal comfort and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) performance, select the Ear Tips that best fit your ears. The soundcore app includes a 'Fit Test' feature to help you achieve the best seal.

Charging Your Earbuds and Case
- Before first use, remove the insulation sticker from the earbuds.
- Place the earbuds into the charging case and close the lid.
- Connect the charging case to a power source using a certified USB-C charging cable, or place it on a wireless charger.
Fully charge both the earbuds and the charging case before initial use. The LED indicators on the case will turn off once charging is complete.

Powering On and Pairing
Open the charging case, and the earbuds will automatically power on and enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
To connect for the first time, select "soundcore Space A40" from your device's Bluetooth list.

Multipoint Connection
The soundcore Space A40 can connect to two devices simultaneously, allowing seamless switching between them.
To connect to a second device:
- Wear the earbuds.
- Press and hold the touchpad on both earbuds for 3 seconds simultaneously.
- Select "soundcore Space A40" from your second device's Bluetooth list.
Using the soundcore App:
- Navigate to Settings within the soundcore app.
- Select 'Dual Connections'.
- Choose 'Connect New Device'.

Manual Pairing Mode
To manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode:
- Place both earbuds in the charging case.
- Leave the charging case open.
- Press and hold the button on the charging case for 3 seconds until the LED indicators flash white in sequence.

Controls
Customize your listening experience with touch controls. The following functions are available in both TWS (True Wireless Stereo) and Mono modes, with specific actions detailed below. Many controls can be customized further within the soundcore app.

Noise Cancellation
Reduce unwanted ambient noise by selecting a noise cancellation mode in the soundcore app:
- Adaptive Mode: Automatically adjusts to the most suitable noise-cancelling profile for your current environment.
- Manual Mode: Allows you to manually set the desired level of noise cancellation.

Transparency Mode
Stay aware of your surroundings while listening to music by selecting a transparency mode in the soundcore app:
- Fully Transparent: Allows you to hear all ambient sounds clearly.
- Vocal Mode: Enhances the clarity of voices amidst other ambient sounds.

LDAC Audio Codec
Experience higher quality sound with LDAC, supported on devices running Android 8.0 or later.
- Benefits: Provides superior audio quality.
- Considerations: Increases power consumption and may reduce playtime. For a stable connection, enable LDAC in environments with low interference.
- Note: Enabling LDAC may disable multipoint connection.
To enable LDAC:
- Open the soundcore app and go to Settings.
- Select 'Sound Mode'.
- Choose 'Preferred audio quality' and switch to the LDAC codec.
You will be notified if LDAC is not supported when connected to two devices. You may need to update your earbuds' firmware for optimal LDAC performance.

Powering Off
To power off your earbuds, simply return them to the charging case and close the lid.
The earbuds will automatically power off after 30 minutes if they are not connected to any device. This duration can be adjusted in the soundcore app.

Resetting Your Earbuds
Reset the earbuds if you experience pairing issues with each other or with other devices.
Procedure:
- First, delete the pairing history from your Bluetooth device(s).
- Place both earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open.
- Press and hold the button on the charging case for 10 seconds. The LED indicators on the case will flash white 3 times, then flash in sequence.

LED Light Guide
Understand the status of your earbuds and charging case through the LED indicators:
- Steady white: Indicates charging or fully charged status.
- Flashing white: Indicates pairing mode or firmware update in progress.
- Flashing white in sequence: Indicates reset process.
- Light off: Indicates charging is complete or device is off.
The charging case LEDs also indicate battery level:
- Red/Orange: < 30%
- Yellow: 30% - 70%
- Green: > 70%
- Off: Fully charged.

Firmware Update
You will be notified within the soundcore app when a new firmware version is available for your earbuds.
To update:
- Ensure the earbuds are placed in the charging case and the case remains open.
- The update will proceed automatically. Keep the case open until the update is completed.
During the update, ensure the earbuds are being charged and avoid using them.
