Soundcore App
Enhance your experience with the soundcore app. Features include 3D Surround Sound, Ambient Sound modes, adaptive noise control, HearID Sound, equalizer tuning, custom controls, and firmware updates.

If earbuds cannot connect, update the app to the latest version from your mobile app store.
Wearing
Choose the Ear Tips that fit your ears best and take a fit test in the soundcore app to ensure optimal ANC performance.
Available Ear Tip Sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL.
Charging
- Tear off the insulation sticker on the earbuds before first use.
- Place the earbuds in the charging case and close it. Ensure earbuds and USB-C port are dry before charging.
- Connect the charging case to a power supply using a certified USB-C cable, or place it on a wireless charger.
Fully charge both earbuds and the charging case before the first use. LED indicators turn off when fully charged.
Battery Level Indicators (Charging Case):
- < 30%: Red light
- 30% - 70%: Yellow light
- 70% - 95%: Green light
- 96% - 99%: White light
- 100%: Light off
Powering On and Pairing
Open the charging case; earbuds automatically power on and enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select "soundcore Space A40" from your device's Bluetooth list to connect.
Multipoint Connection
The earbuds can connect with two devices simultaneously, allowing effortless switching. Wear the earbuds, then press and hold the touchpad on both earbuds for 3 seconds. Select "soundcore Space A40" from your device's Bluetooth list.
To connect a new device: In the soundcore app, go to Settings > Dual Connections > Connect New Device.
Manual Pairing
To manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode: Place earbuds in the charging case, leave the case open, and press and hold the button on the charging case for 3 seconds until LED indicators flash white in sequence.

Noise Cancellation
Reduce unwanted ambient noise using the soundcore app.
- Adaptive Mode: Automatically adjusts noise cancellation to suit different scenarios.
- Manual Mode: Allows manual control over the noise cancellation level.
Transparency
Stay aware of your surroundings while listening to music.
- Fully Transparent: Hear all ambient sounds.
- Vocal Mode: Enhances voices for clearer communication.
LDAC
Experience high-quality sound with LDAC codec (requires Android 8.0+). LDAC increases power consumption and reduces playtime. Ensure a low-interference environment for a stable connection.
To Enable LDAC:
- Go to Settings in the soundcore app.
- Click on "Sound Mode".
- Select "Preferred audio quality" to switch to LDAC.
Note: Earbuds do not support LDAC when connected to two devices. Select "Turn on" to proceed. Switching codecs takes about 10 seconds and may require a firmware update.
Powering Off
Return the earbuds to the charging case and close it. Earbuds automatically power off after 30 minutes of inactivity (duration configurable in the soundcore app).
Reset
If earbuds have pairing issues, reset them. First, delete pairing history from your Bluetooth device. Then, place earbuds in the charging case, leave it open, and press and hold the case button for 10 seconds until LED indicators flash white 3 times and then in sequence.
LED Light Guide
Earbuds & Charging Case Battery Levels:
- < 5%: Flashing red
- 5% - 30%: Flashing yellow
- 30% - 70%: Flashing green
- > 70%: Steady white
Pairing Mode: Flashing white in sequence.
Connected: Steady white (or light off if configured).
Charging Case Button LED:
- Pairing Mode: Flashing white in sequence.
- Connected: Steady white.
Firmware Update
You will be notified of new firmware versions when connecting the earbuds to the app. Ensure earbuds are in the open charging case during the update. Keep earbuds charged and avoid usage during the update.

Serial Number (SN) Code Explanation
The 'x' in the SN Code (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) is a variable. See table below:
