Getting Started
Ear Tip Selection and Fit Test
Select the ear tips that best fit your ears. Use the Soundcore app's Fit Test feature to ensure a proper seal for optimal noise cancellation and sound quality.
Charging
Before first use, remove the protective seals from the earbuds. Place both earbuds into the charging case and close the lid. Use the provided USB-C cable for charging. Wireless charging is also supported; align the case with the center of a wireless charger. Fully charge both earbuds and the case before initial use. The LED indicator on the case will turn off when fully charged.
Power On and Pairing
Open the charging case to automatically power on the earbuds and enter Bluetooth pairing mode. On your device's Bluetooth settings, select "Soundcore Space A40" to connect. For first-time use, ensure both earbuds and the charging case are fully charged.

You can manage connected devices within the Soundcore app under [Device List] > [Dual connections].

- Manual Mode: Allows you to manually adjust the noise cancellation level to suit your environment.
- Normal Mode: Standard noise cancellation.
- High Mode: Maximum noise cancellation.

LDAC Audio Codec
To experience Hi-Res audio with LDAC, you need a device running Android 8.0 or later. iOS devices do not support LDAC. LDAC provides higher sound quality but increases power consumption and may reduce playback time. For a stable Bluetooth connection with LDAC, use it in an environment with minimal interference.
To enable LDAC:
- Navigate to Settings in the Soundcore app.
- Tap [Sound Mode].
- Select [Preferred audio quality] to switch to the LDAC codec.
Note: Enabling LDAC will disable multipoint connection. Switching codecs takes approximately 10 seconds. You may be prompted to update firmware if it's outdated.
Power Off
The earbuds will automatically turn off when placed back into the charging case and the lid is closed. They will also power off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity when not connected to a device. The auto-off timer can be adjusted in the Soundcore app.
Reset
If you experience issues such as no sound from one earbud or connection problems, reset the earbuds. First, delete the pairing history from your Bluetooth device. Then, place both earbuds in the charging case, leave the case open, and press and hold the button on the back of the case for 10 seconds until the case's LED indicator flashes white three times and then cycles through colors. This indicates the reset is complete.
Firmware Update
When a new firmware version is detected, you will receive a notification in the Soundcore app. Follow the app's instructions to update. Keep both earbuds in the charging case with the lid open during the update process. Ensure a stable internet connection. Do not operate the earbuds until the update is complete.
LED Indicator
The LED indicator on the charging case shows the battery status:
- >70% Battery: Solid White
- 30% - 70% Battery: Pulsing White
- 5% - 30% Battery: Flashing White
- <5% Battery: Solid Red
- Pairing Mode: Flashing White
