IKEA TONSTAD Chair Assembly Instructions
This document provides assembly instructions for the IKEA TONSTAD chair.
Parts List
Ensure you have all the following parts before beginning assembly:
- 4x Bolt (Part No. 100159)
- 4x Connector (Part No. 100505)
- 4x Bracket (Part No. 115983)
- 1x Screw (Part No. 108445)
- 1x Allen Key (Part No. 111631)
- 1x Base Support (Part No. 148819)
- 4x Support Clip (Part No. 10032286)
Assembly Steps
Step 1
Attach the connectors (100505) to the chair frame using two bolts (100159) per connector. Use the Allen key (111631) to tighten.

Step 2
Attach the side support pieces to the chair frame. Ensure the holes align correctly.

Step 3
Secure the side support pieces using the brackets (115983) and the Allen key (111631). Insert the bracket and tighten with the Allen key. Ensure the bracket is correctly oriented.

Step 4
Attach the front leg supports. Use two connectors (100505) and two bolts (100159) for each leg support. Tighten with the Allen key (111631).

Step 5
Attach the seat frame to the assembled legs and backrest structure. Ensure all connections are secure.

Step 6
Secure the seat frame using the brackets (115983) and the Allen key (111631). Insert the bracket and tighten. Ensure correct orientation.

Step 7
Turn the chair upright. Secure the seat base to the chair frame using the Allen key (111631) and the provided bolts.

Step 8
Attach the base support (148819) to the underside of the seat. Use one screw (108445) to secure each base support.

Step 9
Attach the support clips (10032286) to the base supports. Insert the clips into the designated slots and ensure they click into place.

Step 10
Place the chair onto a table or stable surface for the next step.

Step 11
Attach the remaining support clips (10032286) to the chair frame. Ensure they click into place securely.

Important Information
Care Instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Safety: Periodically check that all fastenings are properly tightened.
