Assembly Steps

Important: Before starting, ensure you have all parts and tools. Assemble on a soft surface to prevent scratches.

Step 1

Attach the side frame pieces to the seat base using part 100159 (x2) and part 100505 (x2). Ensure the parts are aligned correctly. Do not overtighten.

Note: Use a screwdriver for part 100505. Ensure correct orientation of part 100505.

Step 2

Insert the back support pieces into the designated slots on the seat base. Ensure they click into place.

Step 3

Secure the back support pieces using part 115983 (x2) and part 11631 (Allen key). Insert part 115983 into the holes on the back support and tighten with the Allen key.

Note: Ensure correct orientation of part 115983. Do not overtighten.

Step 4

Attach the remaining side frame pieces to the seat base using part 100159 (x2) and part 100505 (x2). Ensure correct alignment.

Note: Use a screwdriver for part 100505. Ensure correct orientation of part 100505.

Step 5

Flip the chair frame upside down. Attach the remaining back support pieces using part 115983 (x2) and part 11631 (Allen key).

Note: Ensure correct orientation of part 115983. Do not overtighten.

Step 6

Turn the chair upright. Attach the seat cushion supports using part 10032285 (x4). Insert the supports into the holes and secure them.

Step 7

Attach the final seat cushion support using part 148819 (x1) and part 108445 (x1). Screw part 108445 into part 148819.

Step 8

Attach the remaining seat cushion supports (x3) using part 10032285 (x3). Insert the supports into the holes and secure them.

Step 9

Carefully place the seat onto the frame, aligning the holes. Secure the seat using the provided fasteners.

Step 10

Ensure all parts are securely fastened. The TONSTAD chair is now assembled.
