Assembly Instructions

This document provides assembly instructions for the HUVUDSPELARE chair.

Required Tools: Screwdriver (not included)

Important Notes:

• Assemble on a soft surface to prevent scratches.
• If you encounter any issues, contact IKEA customer support.

Parts List:

• Screws (various types and quantities)
• Allen key (1x)
• Casters (5x)

Assembly Steps:

Step 1: Base Assembly

Attach the five legs to the central base component using the provided screws. Ensure all connections are secure.

Step 2: Attaching Casters

Insert the five casters into the designated sockets on the base legs. Push firmly until they click into place.

Step 3: Gas Lift Installation

Place the gas lift cylinder into the center of the chair base. Ensure it is properly seated.

Step 4: Attaching Seat Mechanism

Align the seat mechanism with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat. Secure it using the appropriate screws.

Step 5: Connecting Seat to Base

Carefully lower the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder. Ensure it is centered and stable.

Step 6: Attaching Armrests

Attach the armrests to the sides of the seat using the provided screws. Ensure they are tightened securely.

Step 7: Final Adjustments

Test the chair's height adjustment and swivel functions. Refer to the user manual for detailed operation instructions.

Safety Information:

Warning! Only trained personnel may replace or repair seat height adjustment components with energy accumulators.

The chairs are equipped with safety castors that brake automatically when no one's sitting in the chair. This prevents the chair from rolling away when you stand up, and ensures it remains where you left it.
