Installation Overview
This document provides installation instructions for the Fortin EVO-ALL interface module in a Nissan Frontier. It covers wiring configurations, programming procedures, and remote starter functionality.
Vehicle functions supported (functional if equipped): Immobilizer bypass, Lock, Unlock, Arm, Disarm, Parking Light, Tachometer, Door Status, Hood Status*, Hand-Brake Status, Foot-Brake Status.
*Hood Status: The hood pin switch must be installed. If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set function A11 to OFF.
Programming Options

- 1X Relay (manual transmission)
Mandatory Installation
Hood Pin: The hood pin switch must be installed. Installation of safety elements is mandatory.
Technician Requirement: This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.
Wiring Connections
Refer to the wiring diagrams for specific connections:
- 16-Pin White connector (Driver kick panel): For main connections.
- 15-Pin White connector (at BCM): For specific vehicle functions.
- 6-Pin White connector (at down hill assist button): For specific vehicle functions.
- OBDII Port: For diagnostic and programming.
- 6-Pin White connector (at ignition connector): For ignition and starter connections.
- 2-Pin Blue connector (at Clutch switch): For manual transmission vehicles.
- 4-Pin White connector (at transponder connector): For US models without immobilizer, use programming #2 for CAN functions.
Note for US Models: If the vehicle is not equipped with an immobilizer, use programming #2 for CAN functions.
Key Bypass Programming Procedure (1/2)
- Press and hold the programming button. Connect the 4-PIN Data-link harness (Black connector). LEDs (Blue, Red, Yellow, Blue & Red) will illuminate alternatively.
- Release the programming button when the LED is YELLOW. If the LED is not solid YELLOW, disconnect the 4-Pin connector and return to step 1.
- Insert the required remaining connectors.
- Press and release the programming button twice. The YELLOW LED will alternate between 2x flashes and a pause. Wait until the YELLOW LED turns ON.
- Turn the key to the Ignition ON/RUN position. The RED LED will turn ON. If YELLOW and RED LEDs are not solid, remove the key and repeat step 5. Repeat until YELLOW and RED LEDs are solid.
- Wait for the BLUE LED to flash rapidly.
- Turn the key to the OFF position.
Key Bypass Programming Procedure (2/2)
- Remove the key from the ignition barrel.
- Turn the key to the Ignition ON/RUN position. The BLUE, YELLOW, and RED LEDs will rapidly alternate.
- When the YELLOW LED begins to flash rapidly, the Key bypass is programmed.
- Turn the key to the OFF position.
The module is now programmed. Use the remote of the remote starter or security system to test all supported features.
Program for Vehicle Without Immobilizer (A3)
Before starting, set A3 to OFF.
- Press and hold the programming button. Connect the 4-PIN Data-link connector (Black connector). LEDs (Blue, Red, Yellow, Blue & Red) will illuminate alternatively.
- Release the programming button when the BLUE LED is ON. If the LED is not solid BLUE, disconnect the 4-Pin connector and return to step 1.
- Insert the required remaining connectors.
- Turn the key to the Ignition ON/RUN position. The BLUE LED will flash rapidly.
- Turn the key to the OFF position. The BLUE LED will turn off.
The module is now programmed.
Remote Starter Functionality
- All doors must be closed.
- Remote start the vehicle.
- Unlock the doors with the remote-starter remote or the OEM remote.
- Insert and Turn the key to the Ignition ON/RUN position.
- Press the brake pedal.
- The vehicle can now be put into gear and driven.
