Safety Instructions
Before You Start
- Check that all components are present and that you are entirely happy with the size, design, and finish before starting installation.
- Blind plug, purge plug, and fastenings are included in the package. Remove the package from the bottom of the radiator, taking care not to damage the paint.
- If any parts are missing or damaged, contact the supplier immediately.
- Radiators must be installed using the supplied brackets.
- Fixings are for solid walls. For hollow walls (e.g., plasterboard), fix to internal timbers or use appropriate fixings.
- Before drilling or fixing, check for pipes and wires in walls, floors, or ceilings.
- Remove and dispose of plastic caps from threaded connections before installation.
- Position the radiator for easy connection to the central heating system. Use dimensioned sketches to drill holes correctly.
- Radiator valves are not supplied and must be installed. A thermostatic valve is recommended for comfort and economy.
- Fitting reflective panels behind the radiator can improve efficiency.
Safety
- Never allow unsupervised use by children or persons unable to operate the appliance safely.
- Dispose of plastic bags carefully and keep them away from children.
- Be aware that the contents may include small/sharp components; handle with care and keep away from children.
- Lift the radiator using correct posture, holding from both ends. Seek assistance if too heavy.
Warning
- Once fitted, the radiator requires plumbing and commissioning into a central heating system. Seek professional advice if unsure.
- Panel radiators must always contain water. Dehydrated radiators can corrode and perforate. Frequent water changes with oxygen-rich water accelerate corrosion.
- Do not use panel radiators in outdoor areas. Ambient temperature should not fall below 0°C to prevent freezing damage.
- This radiator is not recommended for centralized national heating systems. Use in such systems may reduce warranty to 2 years due to potential corrosion.
- Read and understand all instructions before fitting.
- The radiator surface can reach very high temperatures; it is not suitable for environments with risks. Keep children and persons with disabilities supervised near the radiator.
- Do not hang heavy objects or lean body weight against the radiator.
- Never cover the top of the radiator, as this reduces heating efficiency and air circulation. Wet clothes can cause corrosion.
Important Notes
- Read and follow all safety and operating instructions before use.
- Store radiators in dry, closed conditions, protected from external elements (rain, snow, sun).
- Do not remove shrink-wrap packaging until the radiator is ready for wall fitting. Radiators with plaster or paint applied cannot be cleaned or restored.
- Installation should be carried out by a qualified professional in accordance with relevant British and European Standards (BS7593:2006 & EN14336:2004).
- This radiator is made from mild steel and is susceptible to corrosion. Use only in systems with a chemical inhibitor. Apply the correct inhibitor after installation as per manufacturer guidelines. Maintain correct water pressure. Consult a plumber if unsure.
- This radiator is not suitable for 'direct central heating systems' (where hot water is also used for taps) as inhibitors cannot be added. Use aluminium or stainless steel radiators for such systems. Consult a plumber if unsure.
- Isolate the central heating system before any work.
- Use correct tools and fittings, and wear necessary PPE.

Assembly Instructions
Step 01: Wall Bracket Placement
Determine the correct bracket type (T11, T21, or T22) based on the radiator model. Mark the wall according to the specific dimensions provided for each type (e.g., for T11: 84±2mm, 48±2mm, 31±2mm vertical spacing). Ensure a minimum clearance of 110 mm from the wall.
Step 02: Prepare Brackets and Radiator
Attach the wall brackets (02) to the radiator unit. Insert the purge plug (03) into the appropriate port.
Step 03: Mark and Drill Holes
Using the spirit level and pencil, mark the drilling points on the wall based on the bracket positions. Drill holes of Ø8 mm, ensuring a depth suitable for the wall fixings. A 60 mm measurement is indicated for certain drilling depths.
Step 04: Secure Brackets to Wall
Insert wall plugs (06) into the drilled holes. Secure the wall brackets (02, 06, 07) to the wall using the provided screws (07).
Step 05: Hang Radiator
Carefully lift the radiator and hang it onto the secured wall brackets.
Step 06: Final Radiator Attachment
Ensure the radiator unit (01) is securely seated on all brackets.
Step 07: Install Radiator Valve
Mount the thermostatic radiator valve (04) and the bleed valve (05) onto the radiator ports. Tighten fittings to approximately 10 Nm.
Step 08: Commissioning
Open the radiator valve to allow hot water circulation from the central heating system. Check if the radiator warms up. If not, bleed any trapped air from the radiator using the bleed valve until water emerges. If problems persist, contact authorized service support.
Care and Maintenance
After Use
Wipe the radiator surface clean with a soft, damp cloth. Never use solvents, scourers, abrasives, bleach, acids, strong detergents, aggressive chemical cleaners, or solvent-based cleaning solutions.
When disposing of the radiator, send it to a metal recycling centre according to local regulations.
To avoid product returns, check with the store for the availability of spare parts if any are missing or damaged.
Prohibited cleaning methods:
- ❌ Spraying with harsh chemicals
- ❌ Using abrasive pads or scourers
- ❌ Using harsh cleaning solutions on a sponge
