Safety and Warnings
?️ Safety First
Before you start:
- Check that all components are present and that you are ENTIRELY happy with the size, design and finish before starting installation.
- Blind plug, purge plug and fastenings are included in the package. Remove packaging carefully to avoid damaging the radiator's paint.
- If any parts are missing or damaged, contact the supplier immediately.
- Radiator should be installed using supplied brackets.
- Fixings supplied are for solid walls. For hollow walls (e.g., plasterboard), fix to internal timbers or use appropriate fixings.
- Always check for pipes and wires before drilling or fixing into walls, floors, or ceilings.
- Remove and dispose of plastic caps on threaded connections before installation.
- Ensure the radiator is positioned for easy connection to the central heating system. Use dimensioned sketches for correct hole positioning.
- Radiator valves are not supplied and must be installed. A thermostatic valve is recommended for local temperature control, comfort, and economy.
- Fitting reflective panels behind the radiator can improve efficiency.
Safety:
- Never allow unsupervised use by children or persons unable to operate the appliance safely.
- Dispose of plastic bags carefully and keep them away from children.
- Handle small/sharp components with care, keeping them away from children.
- Lift the radiator using correct posture, holding from both ends. Seek assistance if too heavy.
⚠️ Warning:
- Once fitted, the radiator requires plumbing and commissioning into a central heating system. Seek professional advice if unsure.
- Panel radiators must always contain water. Lack of water can lead to perforation due to corrosion. Frequent water changes with oxygen-rich water accelerate rusting and premature perforation.
- Do not use panel radiators outdoors. Ambient temperature should not fall below 0°C, as freezing damages the radiator and installation.
- This radiator is NOT recommended for centralized national heating systems. Use in such systems may reduce warranty to 2 years due to potential corrosion.
- Read and understand all instructions before fitting.
- The surface can reach high temperatures, making it unsuitable for environments with risks. Keep persons with disabilities and young children away from the radiator.
- Do not hang heavy objects or lean on the radiator; it is not designed for excessive weight.
- Never cover the top of the radiator, as this impedes airflow, reduces heating efficiency, and can cause corrosion over time.
ℹ️ Important:
- Read and follow all safety rules and operating instructions before use.
- Even when packaged, radiators should not be exposed to external environmental conditions (rain, snow, sun). Store in dry, closed conditions.
- The shrink-wrapped packaging should not be removed until the radiator is ready for wall fitting. Radiators with plaster or paint applied cannot be cleaned or restored.
- Installation should be carried out by a qualified professional in accordance with relevant British and European Standards (BS7593:2006 & EN14336:2004).
- This radiator is mild steel and susceptible to corrosion. Install only in systems with a chemical inhibitor. Apply the correct inhibitor as per manufacturer guidelines after installation. Maintain correct water pressure. Consult a plumber if unsure.
- This radiator is not suitable for 'direct central heating systems' (where hot water is used for taps). For such systems, use an aluminium or stainless steel radiator. Consult a plumber if unsure.
- Isolate the central heating system before starting any work.
- Use correct tools and fittings, and wear necessary PPE.
Installation Guide
Step 01: Bracket Placement
Diagram showing bracket placement for different radiator types (T11, T21, T22) on a wall, with various height and distance measurements indicated (e.g., 84±2/99±2 mm, 48±2/63±2 mm, 31±2/46±2 mm for T11; 101±2/116±2 mm, 66±2/81±2 mm, 31±2/46±2 mm for T21; 135±2/150±2 mm, 83±2/98±2 mm, 31±2/46±2 mm for T22). A minimum distance of 110 mm from the floor is shown.

Operation
To put the radiator in use, open the radiator valve. Make sure that the central heating system is operating. Check if the radiator gets warm. If not, take all the air out of the radiator until water comes out, by loosening the bleed valve with a bleed key or screw driver. In case of a problem, get authorized service support.
Care and Maintenance
After use:
Wipe the surface clean with a soft, damp cloth. Never use any solvents, scourers, abrasives, bleach, acids, strong detergents, aggressive chemical cleaners or solvent type cleaning solutions on the product. When disposing this radiator, it should be sent to a metal recycle centre and the rules of your locality be followed.
To prevent you from returning a product, missing or damaged parts may be available. Please check with the store if spare parts are available.
