Product Introduction

This section provides an overview of the HPRT CP4100 Photo Printer and its accessories.

Note: The printer is equipped with a ribbon and 2 packages of photo paper for testing, which can print approximately 20 photos.

Power On

  1. Connect power supply: Plug one end of the power cord into the printer's power interface and the adapter into a power outlet.
  2. Power on: Hold down the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the printer. The white power indicator will illuminate.

Ribbon Cassette Loading

  1. Open the ribbon cassette compartment cover.
  2. Insert the ribbon cassette: Take the ribbon cassette from the accessories box and insert it into the ribbon compartment following the direction of the arrow on the cassette. Ensure it clicks into place.
  3. Close the ribbon cassette compartment cover.

Photo Paper Loading

  1. Open the paper cassette: Gently lift and remove the paper cassette from above the printer. Pull out part 1 and flip it down, then lift part 2 cover upward.
  2. Load photo paper: Take out the photo paper and load it into the paper cassette with the glossy side facing up.
  3. Close the part 2 cover.

Note: It is recommended not to load more than 18 sheets of paper at a time. Avoid touching the glossy side of the paper to ensure print quality, except for the non-printable area.

Paper Cassette Loading

  1. Open the paper inlet cover.
  2. Load the paper cassette into the printer in the indicated direction.
  3. Load the paper cassette into place: The paper cassette should slide about 2 cm into the slot and make a "click" sound to confirm it is in place.

Ribbon Cassette Replacing

  1. Open the ribbon cassette compartment cover.
  2. Flip the red button up. The ribbon cassette will pop up automatically. Remove the old ribbon.
  3. Load the new ribbon cassette into place until a "click" sound is heard, then close the compartment cover.

Printing from Mobile Phone

  1. APP Download: Scan the QR code to download the APP.
  2. Connect to printer in AP mode:
    1. Open the APP, click "Add device", and "Connect" with "CP4100-XXXX" (XXXX are the last four digits of the Bluetooth address).
    2. Click "Connect to printer directly", follow the prompts on the APP to join and connect to the Wi-Fi released by the printer.
  3. Connect to printer in STA mode:
    1. Connect the mobile phone to a Wi-Fi hotspot (must be 2.4 GHz).
    2. Open the APP, click "Add device", and "Connect" with "CP4100-XXXX" (XXXX are the last four digits of the Bluetooth address).
    3. Click "Connect the printer via Wi-Fi hotspot", enter the Wi-Fi password that your phone is connected to, then click "Connect".
  4. Print:
    1. Click "Picture" on "Home", choose the photos you want to print and adjust them in Preview.
    2. Click "Print" to print.

Note: The print instructions above use "Picture" as an example. For "Collage", "ID photo", "AR video", "Templates", and other functions, please follow the prompts on the APP to experience.

Operating Environment

  1. Please place the printer on a desktop or other flat and stable surface for use.
  2. When printing, the photo paper will move back and forth. Ensure there is more than 10 cm of space behind the printer.

Precautions

  1. The best operating temperature is 5°C~35°C. If the environmental temperature is too high, print quality may be affected.
  2. Use the official adapter, ribbon, and photo paper to ensure print quality.
  3. Do not touch the ribbon film or the glossy side of the photo paper to avoid contamination, which may affect print quality.
  4. Do not forcibly pull out the photo paper during printing, as this may damage the printer.
  5. When not in use for a long time, remove the paper cassette and close the covers of the cassette and printer to prevent dust accumulation.
  6. Operating this device may cause radio interference in a residential environment.

However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
