Quick Start Guide
Product Introduction
This guide provides instructions for setting up and operating the HPRT CP4100 Photo Printer. It covers essential steps from initial setup to wireless printing and important precautions for optimal performance.

Setup Instructions
Power Connection
Connect the power cord. Insert the power cord into the power interface located on the back of the printer.

Power On
Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds. The switch indicator will illuminate. Once all three indicators flash quickly, the power-on sequence is complete, and the printer enters a waiting state for connection.

Loading the Ink Cassette
Open the ink cassette compartment cover. Load the new ink cassette into the printer, aligning it with the direction indicated by the arrow on the cassette, until it clicks securely into place. Close the ink cassette compartment cover.

Loading the Photo Paper
Open the cover of the paper cassette. First, open the outer cover and flip it, then open the second outer cover. Load the photo paper with the glossy side facing upwards. Note: Do not load more than 18 sheets of paper to prevent potential printer damage or malfunction. Avoid touching the glossy side, except for the designated non-printable area.

Loading the Paper Cassette
Open the paper cassette compartment cover. Ensure the outer cover of the paper cassette is open. Slide the paper cassette into the printer until it is fully inserted (approximately 2cm into the compartment). Close the outer cover of the paper cassette.

Replacing the Ink Cassette
Open the ink cassette compartment cover. To remove the used ink cassette, push the lock upward; it will eject automatically. Load the new ink cassette, ensuring it clicks into place, and then close the ink cassette compartment cover.

Operation Instructions
Button Operation
- Turn on the printer: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds; the white switch indicator lights up.
- Turn off the printer: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, release it, and the switch indicator will turn off.
- Reset AP mode: In power-on status, press and hold the power button for 6 seconds. The connection indicator will flash white quickly. Release the button to successfully reset Wi-Fi configuration.
LED Indicator Guide
Switch Indicator
- On always: Printer is powered on.
- Flashes quickly: Printer is in AP mode.
- Flashes slowly: Printer is configuring Wi-Fi.
Connection Indicator
- On always: Connected to Wi-Fi.
- Flashes slowly: Waiting for Wi-Fi connection.
Fault Indicator
- Flashes quickly: Lack of paper or abnormal paper jam.
- Flashes slowly: Lack of paper or paper jam.
- Red Light flashes quickly: Abnormal ink cassette or ink shortage.

Wireless Printing from Smartphones
AP Mode
- Confirm the printer is in AP mode.
- Open the "Heyphoto" App. You can download the app from your device's app store.
- In the App, select "CP4100".
- Tap "Album", select the desired images, and then tap "Next".
- Edit and adjust the images in the print preview, then tap the print icon.
- Wait for Bluetooth searching to complete. Connect to "CP4100-XXXX", where XXXX represents the last four digits of the Bluetooth MAC address found on the bottom of the printer.
- Choose your Wi-Fi network to connect and print.
STA Mode
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Open the "Heyphoto" App.
- Select "CP4100".
- Tap "Album", select the desired images, and then tap "Next".
- Edit and adjust the images in the print preview, then tap the print icon.
- Wait for Bluetooth searching to complete. Connect to "CP4100-XXXX".
- Enter the Wi-Fi hotspot password and tap "Configure WIFI". The white connection indicator will begin to flash slowly.
- Once Wi-Fi configuration is complete (the connection indicator remains on continuously), the printer is ready to print.
Note: The instructions above use photo album printing as an example. For LOMO, AR Photo, and Credentials printing, please refer to the specific guides provided within the App.
Operation Location and Precautions
Operation Location
- Please place the printer on a desktop or other flat and stable surface for use.
- When printing, the photo paper moves back and forth. Ensure there is a space of more than 10cm behind the printer to accommodate this movement.
Precautions
- The optimal operating temperature range is 5°C to 35°C. Environmental temperatures outside this range may affect print quality.
- To ensure print quality, please use only the official adaptor, color ink, and photo paper.
- Do not touch the film of the color ink or the glossy side of the photo paper, as fingerprints can affect print quality.
- Do not forcibly pull out the photo paper during printing, as this may damage the printer.
- If the paper cassette is not used for a long time, remove it and close the covers of the printer and the paper cassette to prevent dust from entering.

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
