Setup Instructions
1. Power On
Connect the power supply by plugging one end of the power cord into the printer's power interface and the adapter into a power outlet.
Hold down the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the printer. The power indicator will turn on.
2. Ribbon Cassette Loading
Open the ribbon cassette compartment cover.
Take out the ribbon cassette from the accessories box and insert it into the ribbon compartment in the direction indicated by the arrow on the cassette. Listen for a "click" to confirm it is in place.
Close the ribbon cassette compartment cover.
3. Photo Paper Loading
Open the paper cassette.
Gently lift up and remove the paper cassette from above the printer.
Pull out part 1 and flip it down, then lift part 2 cover upward.
Take out the photo paper from the accessories box and load it into the paper cassette with the glossy side facing up. It is recommended not to put more than 18 sheets at a time.
Load the paper cassette back into the printer. Slide it about 2 cm into the slot until you hear a "click".
4. Ribbon Cassette Replacing
Open the ribbon cassette compartment cover.
Flip the red button up, and the ribbon cassette will pop up automatically. Remove the old ribbon.
Load the new ribbon cassette into place until you hear a "click" sound, and then close the compartment cover.
Printer Operation
Power Button Functions
- Turn On: Hold down the power button for 3 seconds. The white power indicator turns on.
- Turn Off: Hold down the power button for 3 seconds. The power indicator turns off.
- Reset Network: In the turned-on state, hold down the power button for 6 seconds. The white connection indicator will flash quickly. Release the button to reset the printer's network.
LED Indicator Definitions
Power Indicator:
- Off: Power off
- On: Power on
- White light: Powering on
- Flash quickly: Printing
- Flash slowly: Firmware update
Connection Indicator:
- Off: Connect failed / Not connected
- White light: Powering on
- Flash quickly: Resetting network
- Flash slowly: Configuring network
- On: STA mode connect successfully / AP mode connect successfully
Error Indicator:
- Off: Normal
- White light: Powering on
- Flash quickly: Paper jam
- Flash quickly: Out of ribbon / Ribbon cassette abnormal
- Red light: Out of paper / Paper cassette abnormal
- Flash slowly: Print head temperature is too high
Printing from Mobile Phone
The printer identifies the ribbon by NFC (13.56MHz).
1. APP Download
Scan the provided QR code to download the companion mobile application.
2. Connect to Printer in AP Mode
- Open the APP. Via Bluetooth, click "Add device" and "Connect" with "CP4100-XXXX" (where XXXX are the last four digits of the Bluetooth address).
- Click "Connect to printer directly". Follow the prompts on the APP to join and connect to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the printer.
3. Connect to Printer in STA Mode
- Connect your mobile phone to a Wi-Fi hotspot (must be 2.4 GHz).
- Open the APP, click "Add device", and "Connect" with "CP4100-XXXX" (where XXXX are the last four digits of the Bluetooth address).
- Click "Connect the printer via Wi-Fi hotspot". Enter the Wi-Fi password your phone is connected to, then click "Connect".
4. Print
- Click "Picture" on the "Home" screen.
- Choose the photos you want to print and adjust them in the "Preview" screen.
- Click "Print" to start printing.
Note: The above print instructions use "Picture" as an example. For functions like "Collage", "ID photo", "AR video", "Templates", please follow the prompts within the APP.
Operating Environment and Precautions
Operating Environment
- Place the printer on a flat and stable surface.
- Ensure there is more than 10 cm of space behind the printer, as the photo paper moves back and forth during printing.
Precautions
- The optimal operating temperature is 5°C to 35°C. High environmental temperatures may affect print quality.
- Use only official adapters, ribbons, and photo paper to ensure print quality.
- Avoid touching the ribbon film and the glossy side of photo paper to prevent contamination, which can affect print quality.
- Do not forcefully pull out photo paper during printing, as this may damage the printer.
- When not in use for extended periods, remove the paper cassette and close all covers to prevent dust ingress.
- Operating this device may cause radio interference in a residential environment.
