Adult assembly is required.
To Unfold High Chair
- To unfold the High Chair, hold the footrest at the front with one hand and the crossbar at the back with the other (see Figure 1a). Pull away until there is a click (see Figure 1b).
- If the lower legs are attached, hold the 2 lower legs on the same side of the High Chair and pull apart until there is a click (see Figure 1c).
- To fold the High Chair, follow Step 10.
High Chair Legs
- Locate the 4 High Chair legs. Identify the leg end with a slit and a pin (see Figure 2a).
- Take one leg and align the slit on the leg with the notch on one of the holes on the foot (see Figure 2b).
- Press the pin down and slide the leg in until there is a click. Ensure the leg is oriented so it curves outward. Repeat this step for all four legs (see Figure 2c).
- Position the assembled legs so the pins on each leg are facing inward toward the seat. Align the top of each leg with the corresponding leg hole on the seat (see Figure 2d).
- Press the pins and slide in the legs until there is a click (see Figure 2e). Repeat this step for the remaining legs.
To Attach Seat Fabric and 5-Point Harness
NOTE: Follow the steps in this section in the given order. Refer to the numbered illustrations in Figure 3 for each corresponding step.
REFER TO STEP 8 FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON ATTACHING AND DETACHING THE HARNESS FROM THE SEAT FABRIC.
- Locate the 2 hook and loops at the bottom of the seat fabric (see Figure 3). Fasten both through the corresponding holes on the seat (see Figure 3a).
- Locate the crotch webbing strap (see Figure 3). Insert the webbing strap through the slit between the first 2 hook and loops (see Figure 3b).
- Locate the 2 upper hook and loops above the crotch webbing strap (see Figure 3). Fasten both through the corresponding holes on the seat. The bottom of the seat should look as shown in Figure 3c.
- Locate the hook and loops on the lower back of the seat fabric (see Figure 3). Fasten both through the corresponding holes on the seat (see Figure 3d).
- Locate the lower back webbing straps (see Figure 3). Insert the webbing straps through the vertical slits on the lower back of the seat fabric (see Figure 3e).
- Locate the upper back webbing straps (see Figure 3). Insert the webbing straps through the horizontal slits on the upper back of the seat fabric, depending on the child's height (see Figure 3e).
- Locate the 2 elastic straps on the upper back of the seat fabric (see Figure 3). Thread the elastics through the outermost hole and hook it to the corresponding U-shape tab (see Figure 3f). Repeat for the other side.
- Pull the top of the fabric over to cover the back rest (see Figure 3h).
- Locate the remaining 2 elastic straps on the sides of the seat fabric. Hook the elastics to the corresponding tabs (see Figure 3i).
To Attach Tray
The Tray is not designed to hold the child in the chair. The child should be secured in the High Chair at all times by the 5-point restraining system, in any position (reclining, semi-reclining, or upright). Stay near and watch the child during use. NEVER leave the child unattended.
- Locate the release handles underneath the tray on both the left and right sides.
- Squeeze the handles simultaneously (see Figure 4a) and place the Tray down onto the High Chair armrests until there is a click (see Figure 4b).
- The Tray has 2 adjustment positions. To adjust the position, squeeze the release handles simultaneously and push to position number 1, or pull to position number 2. Release the Tray's handles. Check that the Tray is securely locked in its new position with a click.
- The Tray may be stored on the back legs of the High Chair. Align the plastic tabs (see Figure 4c) on the rounded side of the rear of the Tray with the corresponding plastic tabs (see Figure 4c) on the base of the high chair (see Figure 4d).
- To remove the tray, lift it.
To Attach the Basket
- To attach the Basket to the High Chair, loop one webbing with a snap button around a High Chair Leg, just above the crossbar. Secure it by snapping the buttons together (see Figure 5).
- Repeat this step for the remaining webbings to attach the Basket.
- To remove the Basket, undo the snap buttons and remove the Basket from the High Chair.
Safety
To Use Safety Belt
The High Chair should be used only by children capable of sitting upright unassisted and at least 6 months of age.
To prevent serious injury or death from falls or sliding out, ALWAYS use the restraint system. The child should be secured in the High Chair at all times by the 5-point restraining system, in any position (reclining, semi-reclining, or upright).
- 5-point harness: The shoulder straps of the 5-point harness have 2 attachment positions. Select the position that places the shoulder strap level with, or below, the top of the child's shoulders (see Figure 6a).
- Carefully place the child in the seat and position the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the buckle on the crotch strap. Tighten the harness to be snug around the child's waist and over the child's shoulders (see Figure 6b).
To Release Safety Belt
Push the button on the center clasp; the two harness buckles will pop free (see Figure 7).
To Detach/Re-attach 5-Point Harness
- To detach the 5-point harness, fold the anchor flaps and pull out each of the five straps from their corresponding holes (see Figure 8a).
- To re-attach the 5-point harness, fold the anchor flaps and insert each of the 5 anchor flaps into their corresponding holes through the seat pad and back rest (see Figure 8b).
To Recline Seat
- Hold the back rest with one hand and squeeze the recline lever on the back of the seat with the other hand.
- The back rest has 3 adjustment positions. Pull or push the back rest to adjust the seat to the preferred recline or upright position (see Figure 9). Be sure the back rest clicks into place before using.
NOTE: Use caution not to trap arms, hands, and fingers when adjusting recline positions.
Operation
To Fold the High Chair
The High Chair features a two-step lock mechanism.
- To fold the High Chair, press the locking tab forward using your thumbs (see Figure 10a), then simultaneously press the oval tabs inward as shown in (see Figure 10b).
- Tilt the High Chair backward. With both hands, pull the lock housing down to fold (see Figure 10c).
- Refer to Step 1 to unfold the High Chair.
