⚠️ WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.

⚠️ FALL HAZARD: Children have suffered severe head injuries, including skull fractures, when falling from high chairs. Falls can happen suddenly if the child is not restrained properly. Always use restraints and adjust to fit snugly. The tray is not designed to hold the child in the chair. Stay near and watch the child during use. Never allow the child to push away from the table.

⚠️ STRANGULATION HAZARD: Do not place the High Chair in any location where there are cords, such as window blind cords, drapes, or phone cords.

⚠️ Child Restraint: The child should be secured in the high chair at all times by the 5-point restraining system, in any position (reclining, semi-reclining, or upright). The tray is not designed to hold the child. The high chair is recommended for children capable of sitting upright unassisted and at least 6 months of age.

⚠️ Stability & Weight Limits: Other accessory items may change the balance of the high chair. Ensure the high chair is fully erect and latched in the open position before allowing a child near it. ⚠️ General Use: NEVER allow the high chair to be used as a toy. NEVER use this product if there are any loose or missing fasteners, loose joints, broken parts, or torn mesh/fabric. Check before assembly and periodically during use. Contact Baby Trend Customer Service for replacement parts, repair, or instructions. NEVER substitute parts.

⚠️ Booster Seat to Chair: Children have suffered head injuries from falling from booster seats. Ensure the booster seat is securely attached to the adult chair before each use. Always use restraints until the child can get in and out unassisted (approx. 2.5 years old). Adjust restraints snugly. Never allow the child to push away from the table. Never lift or carry the child in the booster seat. Always check the security of the fit to the adult chair. Never use on a stool or bench without a seat back. Assembly Instructions

IMPORTANT! To ensure safe operation, follow these instructions carefully. Keep for future reference.

IMPORTANT! Before assembly and each use, inspect for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. NEVER use if parts are missing or broken.

IMPORTANT! Adult assembly is required.

IMPORTANT! Always check that the high chair is locked in the open position before using.

To Assemble Youth Seat:

  1. Locate the Height Brackets, Upper frames, front legs, and rear legs (See Figure 1).
  2. Insert the left and right Height Brackets into the front tube of the Upper Frame Assembly (See Figure 2a). The front tube is distinguished by an array of holes on its backside. Squeeze the Release Handles on both sides simultaneously and push the tube through the Height Adjusters until it locks in the highest position (See Figure 2b).
  3. Insert the Legs into the ends of the front tube of both the right and left Upper Frame Assemblies (See Figure 3a). Ensure legs are properly connected when lock buttons align with holes on the Upper Frame Assemblies. Make sure lock buttons are engaged before use.
  4. Insert the remaining Legs into the ends of the rear tube of both the right and left Upper Frame Assemblies (See Figure 4a). Ensure lock buttons are engaged. To lock the wheel, press the latch down; to unlock, lift the latch (See Figure 4b).
  5. The Youth Seat comes pre-installed with the seat base. To disassemble the Youth Seat from the seat base, press the lever in the bottom middle of the seat base while pulling the seat base back from the Youth Seat (See Figure 5a).
  6. Align the Youth Seat into the Height Brackets, ensuring the brackets are locked into the Youth Seat (See Figure 5b). The Youth Seat cannot be removed from the frame.
  7. Slide the Footrest into the Height Bracket (See Figure 6) and lock it into place. To adjust the footrest height, squeeze both tabs simultaneously and lift. Push both tabs and pull for removal. ATTENTION: The youth seat must face forward ONLY. DO NOT remove with child in the seat.

To Assemble Booster Seat:

  1. Insert metal tabs (1) and (2) directly into the seat base slot until secured (See Figure 7a). Ensure the backrest sits correctly in the base.
    • Pin Setup: The backrest must be in the most upright position before inserting pins (See Figure 7b).
    • Press Pins: Ensure seat parts latch together vertically. Insert pins fully into each side of the seat base and test recline. CAUTION: DO NOT push pins into the base only; they must catch the base and backrest (See Figure 7c, 7d).
  2. Loop the flap on the back of the Seat Pad over the top of the Seat Back. Connect the Seat Pad to the Seat Back using the two elastic loops that fit over attachment tabs near the harness slots (See Figure 8a).
  3. Attach the bottom of the Seat Pad to the Seat Base using the two elastic loops located at the rear of the Seat Pad. These loops fit over attachment tabs on the Seat Base near the Seat Back/Seat Base join (See Figure 8b).
  4. Attach each anchor hook of the Seat Pad to the side armrest. Ensure the hook slot slides through the underside division (See Figure 8c, 8d).

Booster Seat Attachment:

  1. Align the Seat Base into the Youth Seat connections, ensuring both connections click into position (See Figure 9a). Check security by gently pulling up on the Booster Seat. Squeeze the release under the seat and lift to remove (See Figure 9b).
  2. Always adjust the seat back to the most upright position before attaching.
  3. To attach to the chair, use the seat back straps located underneath the seat compartment (See Figure 9c).
  4. Use the seat bottom straps located underneath the seat slot compartments (See Figure 9d).
  5. Place on a chair with a seat back and no armrests. Ensure no extra padding or cushions on the chair.
  6. (1) Wrap the back straps around the chair back and buckle them until they click closed (See Figure 9e).
  7. (2) Wrap the bottom straps around the chair bottom and buckle them until they click closed (See Figure 9e).
  8. (3) Tighten the Booster Seat onto the chair (See Figure 9f). Check tightness by attempting to move the seat; it should not move more than 1 inch.

To Remove Booster Seat From Chair:

To Attach Tray:

⚠️ WARNING: Always check that the high chair is locked in the open position before using.

⚠️ WARNING: The tray is not designed to hold the child in the chair. The child must be secured at all times by the 5-point restraining system. Stay near and watch the child during use. Never leave the child unattended.

  1. To attach the Tray, squeeze the release handle located underneath the tray and firmly press into the positioning slots (See Figure 10a).
  2. The Tray has a 4-position adjustment. To adjust, squeeze the release handle and reposition the tray. Release the handle. Check that the Tray is securely locked.

  2. The tray can be stored on the back legs of the High Chair. Align the holes in the rear of the tray with the pegs on the back legs (See Figure 11b). To remove, lift the tray.

To Use Safety Belt:

⚠️ WARNING: Use only if the child can sit upright unassisted and is at least 6 months old.

⚠️ WARNING: Prevent serious injury or death from falls or sliding out. Always use the restraint system (3-point or 5-point). Child must be secured at all times. Stay near and watch the child. Never leave the child unattended.

  1. 3-point harness: Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the Harness Buckles into the Center Clasp. Adjust waist straps snugly. Straps have 2 attachment positions; select the slot that best fits your child (See Figure 12).

  2. Place the child in the seat and position the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male ends of the shoulder/waist belts into the crotch strap buckle. Tighten the harness snugly around the child's waist and shoulders (See Figure 14b).

To Release Safety Belt:

  1. Push the button on the Center Clasp to release the two Harness Buckles (See Figure 15).

Recline Seat:

  1. Squeeze the recline lever on the back of the seat and adjust to the desired recline or upright position (See Figure 16). Be cautious not to trap arms, hands, or fingers when adjusting recline positions.

To Adjust Seat Height:

⚠️ WARNING: Do not adjust seat height with child in seat. Adjust before placing child in the high chair.

⚠️ WARNING: Verify that the height adjustment bracket is level and both left and right sides are locked before placing child in the high chair.

⚠️ WARNING: Never rest the height adjustment bracket on the locking pins.

  1. ATTENTION: Applies to Youth Seat with or without the Booster Seat attachment. Ensure Height Brackets lock on the lowest position. DO NOT rest Height Adjustment Brackets on the Locking Pins (See Figure 17a).
  2. Squeeze the Release Handles on both sides simultaneously and adjust the bracket to the ideal position (See Figure 17b, 17c). DO NOT adjust with child in the seat.

To Fold High Chair:

⚠️ WARNING: Do not sit on the frame when the seat is not attached. Do not use the frame as a foot stool. Potential pinch point when opening the frame.

The High Chair can be folded with the seat in any height position.

  1. Use the recline handle to place the Seat Back in the most upright position (See Figure 18).
  2. Pull upward on the release levers on the sides of the frame and push the rear legs towards the front legs until folded (See Figure 19). The chair is now ready to store. DO NOT allow children to play around the folded high chair as it may fall.

Tray Storage Option:

  1. Squeeze the tray release handle and slide the tray out (See Figure 20).
  2. Hang the tray on the hooks located on the back of the rear leg (See Figure 21).

To Unfold High Chair:

Extend the front and rear legs outward until locked into position.

To Reattach Seat Pad:

NOTE: Some models include the seat pad and accessory already attached to the seat back.

  1. Thread the non-buckle end of the harness straps (Harness Attachment Tabs) through the provided slots in the seat fabric, accessory, seat back, and seat base (See Figure 22). Once through the slots, rotate the tabs 90 degrees. Ensure straps are firmly in place.
  2. Refer to Step 8 and follow steps (See Figure 8b to 8d).
